Third Person POV
"Juno, let me handle him."
"No. This thing caused a lot of pain and heartache for Master Atlas. I will slowly torture him."
The two spirits were arguing and trying to see who got first dibs on the elf. The elf, let's just name him Gone, stood there, not sure what was happening. He couldn't hear what the two mysterious people were saying. But he had no time to relax.
Juno looked down at Gone. She just slowly faded away, it was as if she was an illusion. Gone thought that she ran and put his attention on Genesis instead.
"Don't forget. You caused Master Atlas a lot of pain. I'm going to return that to you today." Gone looked around, the voice that spoked belong to Juno. He suddenly felt a chilling tingle down his left leg.
Since his leg was hidden behind armor, he couldn't see what was causing the sensation. But then he felt a sharp pain, as if something was stabbing his leg. He fell over, scratching at his leg.
"It looks like you're enjoying my gift to you." Genesis was sitting on the roof. He seemed amused by Gone's reaction.
"What… what did you do?…"
"I did this." Genesis snapped his finger and gave a command. "Eat."
Suddenly, his left leg's armor plating began melting. But that wasn't the end of it. When his plating opened up and exposed his leg, hundreds of ants came crawling out. Gone freaked out and tried brushing them away.
"Fire ants!!" Genesis had used his natures magic to control the fire ants. He also planned to slowly torture Gone for putting his Master through all of that pain.
The ants already began to disperse. "Look forward to it boy. An elf like you shouldn't have lived this long." Genesis then faded away just like Juno.
When Genesis had completely faded away, Gone heard feet shuffling close to him. He looked in the direction to see Juno, her white dress making her easy to spot.
"Wait wait! Please stop! You aren't prisoners right? That means we don't even have to fight one another right?! You keep talking about this Master of yours but-." Gone thought that he could talk sense into them. He realized that these two people were far stronger than he was and he wanted to survive. He was even willing to apologize to this master even though he didn't know who they were referring to.
"He is coming this way right now. Why don't you apologize to him when he comes here? I'm sure you will remember him." Just like the other spirits, Juno had access to Atlas' memories when they merged. Due to this, she felt a deep connection with him even though Atlas didn't feel the same. All the spirits felt this way, that is why Juno and Genesis were going out of their way to do this.
Juno felt the sense of unjust and sadness that Atlas felt that day he was sold off for the second time. The sense of betrayal that ate at him for years had manifested in each spirit as well. Juno was the most affected.
[Calming Pulse]
Gone had frozen in fear. Juno had reached out and touched his shoulders. She looked right at him and smiled.
"Prepare yourself. My master felt this same pain for over a year."
After Juno said that, Gone felt a strange pulsing sensation throughout his body. It wasn't bad at first. He actually found it calming and peaceful. However, he began shouting in pain.
The pulsing sensation kept getting stronger. It felt like someone was running lighting through his body. It wasn't just the lighting he felt that bothered him. The shocks kept coming at different intervals, so it drove him crazy since he didn't know when it would hit him again.
This went on for 10 minutes, by the end of it Gone was laid out flat on the ground, drooling and crying.
"Juno. You used to much power. He barely got through that." Genesis had returned. "It's fine, he was fighting back a bit so I had to make sure that he knew his place."
Genesis quickly checked Gone. "Well it's fine. He's still alive. I already contacted master and sent Pollux back under the house."
Gone was listening to what the two were saying. He took a moment to analyze everything that has happened. Two people with amazing control over their evolved magic. They claimed he attacked their master but he couldn't think of anyone.
When Gone focused on them, he realized that has the same aura as a spirit. It all makes sense to him now.
The aura he felt earlier wasn't [Death's Aura]. It was the natural aura that spirits gave off.
Spirit's aura was different from [Death's Aura]. When Rowan created spirits, he put a little bit of his own power into each spirit. Since every elf has a contract with at least one spirit, many of them has been exposed to Rowan's power. This has become a double edge sword for the elves. The long exposure has strengthened them and helped them grow faster compared to humans. HOWEVER. The spirits can also harm the elf if the spirits experience negative emotions while in a contract with them. That is why most elves take good care of their spirits.
Many elves get the chance to experience this before signing a contract to understand the fate that awaited them if they were to mistreat their spirit. Gone realized what he felt back then was the same as he felt now.
But the two in front of him looked like humans. It took him only a moment to realize who their master was.
"The Sage…"

Atlas POV
Genesis told me that Pollux was attacked by the elf prince's guards! I asked Ceto and Uri to stay behind and guard the others. I instantly teleported to the insignia. When my vision came back after I teleported, I was standing in front of a house, Pollux was no where to be found.
"Master, over here." I turned to see Genesis and Juno standing behind me.
"Where's Pollux?"
"Don't worry Master. He was injured but he's resting right now. I called you here to see someone else."
The two walked around the corner, I followed behind. Once around the corner, there was an elf on the ground. He was covered in blood. I could see his left leg bone poking through. He seemed to have just been tortured.
"Who's this?" Genesis and Juno looked at me like two dogs who just brought me their favorite toy.
"This elf is the one who caught you and had you sold to the Beast Kingdom all those years ago."
Oh? I didn't expect to see him here of all places. I walked up to him. I kicked him til he woke up again.
He carefully looked at me. "You're… that boy… you're that boy that saved Princess Liza."
"So you do remember me?" I did hate this man a lot when I was younger but I currently have no hate for him.
Genesis and Juno were standing behind me. I didn't really understand what they wanted me to do with him.
"Genesis, what am I suppose to do here?"
"Anything you want to Master. We caught him so we thought it would be a great opportunity for you to get your revenge."
As much as I did hate him, I had no reason to kill him. It was thanks to him that I've met so many people. As I was thinking of what to do, I hear him call out to me.
"My lord… please forgive me… I was only following orders." It looks like he recognized me as the Sage.
'Master Atlas. It seems like you won't kill him. I can see the hesitation. However you should punish him. He captured you, the future Sage.'
Juno suddenly gave me her opinion on what I should do. I do also agree with her. Even though I am suppose to help and save them, I must let them know that I won't forgive easily.
"I understand but you must be punished. You will feel pain."
[Disintegrate]
"AHHHHHHH!!"
I touched his arms. Both of them slowly began turning to ashes. He screamed but it didn't bother me. He continued screaming til he passed out.
"Well done Master."
"Good choice Master Atlas."
As I turned around, I saw another elf behind Genesis and Juno.
"What is this?! You can use magic? I thought you couldn't?! What trick did you use???"
It was Prince Deios.
