Chapter 1

"Aaaaah, please stop it, I never wanted to come here but they threatened me with my family. They threatened to kill my family if I refuse to come here and I cannot let that happen, please understand sire Derek," Donald yelled as Derek drove his dagger slowly below his lower abdomen.

"Who the hell is the son of a bitch that you are desperately trying to hide, who are the people that sent you and what the hell do they want from me?," Derek asked looking at him with a murderous look.

"Please sir Derek, I cannot tell you that. These people are vicious and they will not hesitate to kill my family if I open my mouth," Donald cried aloud in pain on the table as Derek grip increased on the dagger.

"Enough shit about your family, tell me who sent you here or you won't even live long enough to even think about seeing them," Derek yelled to his face forcefully removing the knife from his belly with the aim of striking him and ending his life but was stopped by Donald's next words.

"They know your secret sire," Donald shouted into the air, making Derek pause with the dagger in his hands.

"What secret are you talking about?," Derek asked unsure of what he was going to say next.

"They know that you are a werewolf sire, and not just any werewolf but the next in line Alpha for the supposedly extinct Hoden pack, the last member of the Hoden pack and as legends have it,the next True Alpha," he replied leaving Derek in awe and disbelief of what he just heard.

"What?, you mean I am an Alpha of a pack?," Derek asked confused as he tried to comprehend what he just heard.

"Yes sire, you are the only surviving member of the Hoden pack and you are the next Alpha of your pack. It is such a pity that you know nothing about your lineage," Donald replied breaking into a mocking laugh but was soon cut short by Derek who immediately gripped his neck.

"Shut up, you cow. It seems you are forgetting that your life is in my hands and I can take it before you speak another word," Derek replied annoyed as he tightened his grip on his neck.

" Th-ey, they are coming for you, and not just you sire, they are coming for everything you love and care about including the love of your life, Jocelyn and they won't stop until they destroy you, her and everything you care about not even excluding your weak poor human mother," Donald Said and that sent anger down the spine of Derek making him more angrier than he had ever been and at that moment,Derek ended his life with his dagger.

"Let them come, I am ready for them and the worst mistake they can make will be putting their fingers on Jocelyn or even my mother," Derek yelled with bloodshot eyes as he removed his dagger from the lifeless Donald's chest.

Flashback 

In the beginning,there were only two creatures created by the Sky Lord,    which were the humans and the werewolves. He created them differently from each other, especially the werewolves which he created with extra Agility, super speed and also a heightened sense of smell and sound. He gave the werewolves the privilege to be humans and also turn  back to werewolves at will. He created a boundary between them so neither can know of the existence of the other.  For many years, the werewolves were run by the first true Alpha, Alpha Jael who ruled the werewolves kingdom with so much peace and harmony until the time he died, everyone thought his son would rule after his death but the mantle of the Sky Lord was not placed on him but instead it was placed on four men from different families namely, Curtis Allanon, Enzo Tiberius, Philip caserius and Finn hale. They were all crowned leaders of the pack and the pack was divided into four for each to head. 

 The werewolf kingdom continued to thrive for years with these leaders until a prophecy came. The prophecy foretold of a child born from one of the packs who will wrestle with the Alpha of the other pack and rule as the one and only true Alpha of the pack.the new prophecy was received with different feelings by the werewolves,  descendants of the Alphas who were planning to rule after their predecessors were not happy to know that there would be only one Alpha and no longer the four of them as usual and it brought a lot of envy and hate among the descendants of the four different packs. Hundreds of years went by, the four Alphas from different packs continued to rule again and one faithful day, another prophecy was received. It was said that the birth of the true Alpha will be soon and he will be from the Hoden pack. News of these flew ran town and werewolves from the Hoden pack were very happy to know that the True Alpha will come from their lineage but the others were not and they started breeding hate towards the Hoden pack. 

Hundred years later Meshal Allanon sat outside with his pregnant mate, Amber Allanon watching the stars. It was their usual evening duty which they enjoyed doing very much.

"Such a beautiful night my love,I just want to stay here all the time with you and our unborn son," Meshal said, rubbing her protruding belly softly.

"Same here my dear,but we can't do that. We have duties to our pack and I think my back hurts from sitting down too much," Amber replied with a sheepish smile on her face.

"Okay dear, perhaps it is time we head in and have some rest.let me lift you up," Meshal said carrying her up but was instantly stopped by her as she yelled In pain.

"Ahhh,it hurts,it hurts.I think my water just broke," Amber said looking at him with pain as she yelled aloud.

" What does that mean dear and tell me where it hurts?'' Meshal replied, looking at her confused on what to do. 

"It means the baby is coming, it hurts, please make it go away," she screamed aloud and his heart jumped. He carried her back to their Chambers for their midwives to attend to her.
