"What in the actual hell are you guys on? No really, let me get this straight. You mean to tell me I killed something that's not even real?"...
..."Truck Kun? as in the legendary Truck Kun?!"
"You upset the cosmic balance," echoed a deity, their words resonating with the authority of universal order.
An unseen force enveloped Alex, rendering him powerless. It felt as though his entire being had been roped by an invisible string. The cosmic beings, arbiters of fate were beings far above his paygrade, that he had figured out quite quickly already.
"You shall be held accountable for this distortion you've caused in the grand design of creation," their voices boomed all at once.
"What the fuck is actually going on?!" Alex tried to speak, tried to struggle and break out of his unseen bondage but that in itself was a herculean task.
In no time, the cosmic beings in front of him began passing judgment, entwining his destiny with the very essence he had unwittingly disrupted.
"The repercussions are yours to bear," declared another deity, their voice carrying the reverb of a thousand speakers.
A blinding surge of energy engulfed Alex, and the foggy realm transformed into an otherworldly space. Light covered the space he was kneeling in and he was temporarily blinded, unable to see a thing that was going on. He had a lot of questions to ask and he wasn't sure of what was happening. But in his mind, he was smart enough to know he was absolutely cooked.
'Could it be the sleep deprivation? Perhaps I'm hallucinating?' Alex thought of numerous things to debunk the very reality he seemed to be stuck in.
Soon he could see again as the light began to dim down. When the light subsided to tolerable degree and he could then open his eyes, Alex found himself standing before a colossal truck.
This truck was bathed in what Alex could only describe as a cosmic glow, as it exuded an extraordinary force. It was akin to being close to a furnace except it wasn't heat Alex was feeling. It was an overwhelming pressure that spoke of power, power way beyond his mortal comprehension.
"Because of the crime you have committed has shaken the very flow of creation and destruction, your punishment is eternal," the beings spoke aloud like Alex was a million miles away. He was equally surprised his ears hadn't burst out bleeding from the loud voices yet. But he had more things to worry about.
"Eternal? As in...forever?!" Alex asked but barely got an answer. The deities went on with their proclamation, overshadowing his voice like it was a pesky mosquito.
"You shall be the harbinger of cosmic consequences," the collective voices of the deities intoned.
"Navigate through the realms, witness the tales you disrupted, and seek redemption!!" the deities proclaimed in unison, their voices melding with the ethereal engine's hum.
Immediately, almost like magic, Alex found himself floating through different worlds. Each one passing him by as fast as a speeding bullet train but it he seemingly captured everything. Realm after realm, they were all too surreal.
He passed through one realm that had vibrant colors and strange landscapes. He could hear voices, whispers of countless stories about each world. This was done by the old looking deity that had a quill in his hand and his back half turned.
In another world, there were tall buildings, brilliant and beautiful cities with futuristic tech as he saw vehicles that looked cars flying.
'These are like alternate universes? This cannot be earth unless I'm dead and it's been so long that Tesla now has a flying model,'
He moved past that world into another, here he saw castles and heard tales of knights and secrets. The journey continued through realms of magical creatures, flying beasts and strangely colourful plants.
"You have seen a glimpse of the vast ocean of creation. Now you are obliged with traveling across these realms, delivering justice!!'
As soon as those words were said, a shimmering key materialized in Alex's hand. The key bore the unmistakable logo of a truck. It felt very weighty as Alex held it.
The voices resonated, explaining the key's significance. It was the key to Truck Kun, the legendary vehicle that traversed the vast narratives of countless worlds. Bound to this otherworldly duty, Alex held the key that would unlock the boundless journeys across realms.

Suddenly, tossed from his suspended state, Alex felt the sensation of free fall engulf him, only to open his eyes and find himself back in his room. The cosmic odyssey seemed to have been nothing more than a haunting dream.
As he went about his morning routine, dragging his feet across the familiar floorboards, the remnants of the dream lingered in his mind. Pouring cereal into a bowl and adding milk, Alex mechanically scooped spoonfuls into his mouth, his gaze fixed on the quiet neighborhood outside.
A slight headache crept in, tempting him to call in sick to work. Lost in contemplation, a knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. Startled, he dropped his bowl and hurried to answer.
"Hey, Mr. Gordon, good morning," Alex greeted his next-door neighbor.
"What's good about the morning when you used your car to crush my daisies last night?!" Mr. Gordon's accusatory tone pierced through the air.
Confused, Alex followed Mr. Gordon to the front yard, where shock awaited him. A massive truck loomed over a flattened floral bed.
"Oh, shit," Alex muttered, eyes locked on the intrusive truck that had materialized from his dream into his waking reality. The cosmic journey seemed to have left an unexpected mark on his world.
Alex stared at the familiar sight parked in front of his house — the haunting truck from his cosmic journey. Disbelief echoed through his muttered words, "I'm dreaming, right?" But Mr. Gordon's irate voice brought him back to the unsettling reality.
"Well, the reality is that my daisies have been crushed! What do you intend to do about that, Mr. dreamer?" Mr. Gordon's frustration with the unexpected parking choice pierced through the air, but Alex was too horrified to respond.
Walking back towards his house, eyes fixed on the mysterious truck, Alex was unable to shake off the surreal dread gripping his senses. Mr. Gordon continued to call out, but his words seemed distant as Alex entered his home, hands still on his head, muttering in denial.
Peeking through the window blinds, he confirmed the unsettling truth — the truck was still parked beside his house. A sense of panic enveloped him as he returned to his room, collapsing on his bed. Thoughts raced through his mind, questioning the blurred lines between dreams and reality.
"If it's not a dream, then how did I end up back in my house?" Alex pondered aloud, uncertainty clouding his thoughts. The possibility of being in possession of a dead man's truck sent shivers down his spine. Worries about potential police involvement added to his growing anxiety.
As he anxiously glanced out the window, the persistent presence of the truck fueled his unease. Surprisingly, no one had called from work, and the events of the previous night seemed more tangible than ever. Alex questioned the fate of the two guards, the damaged properties, and his now-destroyed car.
Deciding to move to the living room, Alex sat on the sofa, grappling with the overwhelming circumstances. The unsettling feeling persisted, prompting him to stand again, realizing he had been sitting on the TV remote control. He turned on the television, searching for any news related to the bizarre events.
"Strange," he muttered, finding no news coverage of the apparent break-in at his workplace. The absence of information added to the perplexity of his situation. He switched off the TV, rubbing his chin, attempting to make sense of the inexplicable events unfolding around him.
Contemplating his next move, Alex considered the risky option of disposing of the evidence. However, the uncertainty surrounding the truck's sudden appearance deterred him. The whole experience felt like déjà vu, leaving him in a state of perplexity.
"I need a cool shower," he declared, seeking solace in the familiar routine. Heading to his bedroom and bathroom, he opened the door to reveal a bathtub, deciding to soak away the mounting stress. After a relaxing bath, he emerged, dried off, and pondered the perplexing situation in his living room.
Opening his drawer to retrieve clothes, Alex noticed something amiss — a neatly folded suit that triggered a flood of recognition. It was the suit he wore the previous day, damp and smelly. Now to his dismay, it was folded and kept clean. The illogical presence of a dry, neatly folded version baffled him.
Picking up the suit, Alex contemplated its incongruity. As he attempted to hang it back, he felt an unusual presence in the pocket. Deepening his exploration, he pulled out a key with the unmistakable symbol of a truck.
"You've got to be kidding me," he exclaimed, staring at the key in disbelief. The key, a tangible link to the nightmarish journey, further blurred the boundaries between reality and the surreal.
The moment his hands touched the key, the truck symbol lit up white. Tempted, yet against all better judgment, Alex's thumb felt an irregularity on the key.
"Is this a button?" Alex thought as he unwittingly pressed on it. Immediately, something strange happened.
