The Triumph

This is the fifth book to my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Madoka Magica, Symphogear, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, Madoka Magica, Symphogear, and SAO in there, all of us interacting with each other. A couple of weeks or months have passed since Team RNJR and I have made it to Haven. And there are some reunions along the way too. The Ponds are here too, which is really fantastic. It's gonna be fantastic, and it will take a while for things to go back to how they were, if they ever go back to where they were.

Space Gandalf

(Jared's POV)

Amy's bedroom…

"Wow, Amy's getting married." Kirika said, happily.

The Tardis has squeezed itself in by the door.

"Yup, she is." I said, smiling.

The bridal gown is still hanging on the open wardrobe door.

"Well." The Doctor said.

"Yeah." Amy said.

"Blimey." The Doctor said.

"This is…" Shirabe said, staring at the wedding dress. "Uh...wow."

"It is impressive, Amy." Maria said. "That dress looks good on you."

"I know. This is the same night we left, yeah?" Amy asked.

"We were gone for only five minutes." I said, eating some cookies and cream Pocky. "That beats a year late and fourteen years late for sure."

Amy picks up a ring box and opens it, "Like Kirika said, and what Jared knew way ahead of time, I'm getting married in the morning."

"Why did you leave it here?" Maria asked.

"Why did I leave my engagement ring when I ran away with a strange man, a fanboy, and some heroes the night before my wedding?" Amy asked.

"Yeah." The Doctor said.

"Hmm. Doctor, you really are an alien, aren't you."

"Who's the lucky fellow?"

"You met him."

"Ah, the good looking one. Or the other one?"

"The other one."

"Well, he was good too."

"Jeff did help save the world." I said, happily. "But nothing beats the Lone Centurion."

"Lone Centurion?" Shirabe asked.

"Oh, Rory."

"Rory Williams?" Maria asked. "From Leadworth. Amy's boyfriend."

"Yeah. That's the one."

"Oh, I hope he's good looking for you, Amy." Kirika said, happily.

"This is what he looked like." I said, handing my phone to Kirika. "Look."

"Oh, the nose. It's interesting. He looks like a nice boyfriend." Shirabe said.

"Thanks. So, Doctor, Jared, do the both of you comfort a lot of people on the night before their wedding?" Amy asked.

"Why would you need comforting?"

"Kaede and I nearly died. We were alone in the dark, and we nearly died. And it made me think."

"Well, yes, natural. I think sometimes. Well, lots of times." The Doctor said.

"About what I want. About who I want. You know what I mean?"

"Yeah."

"No. You really don't, Raggedy Man." I said, letting out a sigh.

"About who I want." Amy said.

"Oh right, yeah. No, still not getting it." The Doctor said.

"Doctor. In a word. In one very simple word even you can understand." Amy said, trying to kiss the Doctor.

"No! Don't kiss the Doctor! You're getting married in the morning to Rory!" Kirika said, watching the Doctor trying to run away from Amy.

"Well, the morning's a long time away. What are we going to do about that?" Amy asked, pinning the Doctor against the Tardis and tries to undo his shirt.

"Amy, listen to me. I am nine hundred and seven years old. Do you understand what that means?" The Doctor asked.

"It's been a while?"

"Yeah. No, no, no. I'm nine hundred and seven, and look at me. I don't get older, I just change. You get older, I don't, and this can't ever work."

"Oh, you are sweet. Doctor. But I really wasn't suggesting anything quite so long term." Amy said, finally getting to plant her lips on the Doctor's.

"But you're human. You're Amy. You're getting married in the morning. In the morning." The Doctor said.

"Doctor?" Amy asked.

"It's you. It's all about you. Everything. It's about you."

"Hold that thought."

"Amy Pond. Mad, impossible, Amy Pond. I don't know why, I have no idea, but quite possibly the single most important thing in the history of the universe is that Jared, Maria's team, and I get you sorted out right now."

"That's what I've been trying to tell you."

"Come on." I said, holding Maria's hand. "The TARDIS is not a snog box!"

"Doctor." Amy said.

"A snog box?" Shirabe asked.

"Long story. I'll tell you later." I said, sadly.

"What's a snog box?" Kirika asked.

"It's a kissing booth."

The Doctor hustles Amy into the Tardis and takes a last look at her alarm clock as it clicks over to 12:00am 6/26.

"And for those of us who can't read the base code of the universe?" River asked, her voice in my head.

"Amy's time." The Doctor said, his voice in my head.

TARDIS...

Amy leans on console flirty, the Doctor reaches past her, hits a lever, steps away. I'm sitting on the steps with Shirabe, Kirika, and Maria.

"Oh typical bloke, straight to fixing his motor." Amy said, annoyed.

"That's the thing Amy, I am not a typical bloke." The Doctor said.

"Sorry, did I do something wrong cos I'm getting kind of mixed signals here." Amy said, and she slaps a lever down.

"Mixed signals?" The Doctor asked, and he slaps the lever up. "How?"

"Oh come on, you, Jared, and Team RNJR turn up in the middle of the night, get me out of my bed in my nightie which neither of you then don't let me change out of for ages, and take me for a spin in your time machine. No, no, you're right, no mixed signals there. THAT is just a signal. Like a great big bat signal in the sky, get your coat off the Doctor is in with some superheroes."

"No! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's not like that. That's not what I'm like." The Doctor said, as he started to laugh.

"Then what are you like?"

"I don't know. Gandalf. I'm a space Gandalf, or the little green one in Star Wars…" The Doctor said, while he makes a lightsaber noise.

"You really are not. You are a bloke."

"I'm the Doctor."

"And Jared, you are a bloke too."

"I'm not a bloke. I have an innocent and childlike mind at most!" I said, crossing my arms. "And Doctor, you were thinking of Yoda!"

"He's right. Jared's totally like me." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, every room you and Jared walk into, the both of you laugh at all the men and show off to all the girls." Amy said.

"Do not." The Doctor said.

"What about Rory?" Amy asked. "And Jared, what about Jaune?"

The Doctor and I laugh and he mimes big nose for Rory and I mime bunny rabbit for Jaune.

"You laughed! And Jared, I thought you liked Jaune!" Amy said, angrily.

"He'll always be known as a vomit boy to me and everyone else from Beacon." I said, laughing a lot.

"No, that was just an involuntary snort. Of fondness. For Rory." The Doctor said.

"The both of you are a bloke and you don't know it…" Amy said, trying to put her arms around the Doctor's neck. "...and here I am to help…"

"Amy!" Maria said, when Amy tries to kiss the Doctor. "You're getting married to Rory."

"I know." Amy said, looking back at Maria. "Let me help the Doctor."

The Doctor squirms, "That is not why you're here."

"Then why am I here?" Amy asked, clutching the Doctor's suspenders.

"Because!" The Doctor said, grabbing Amy's hands to stop her.

"Because you want to have sex and nights out with River Song!" I said, smiling.

"No! Not that!"

"How about attending my concerts with Tsubasa?" Maria asked.

"Okay. Those I have to admit are good." The Doctor said, as he grows serious. "Because I can't see it any more."

The Doctor turns away.

"See what?" Amy asked.

"I'm 907. After a while you just can't see it." The Doctor said, sitting on the jump seat.

"See what?"

"Everything. I look at a star and it's just a big ball of burning gas and I know how it began, I know how it ends, and I was probably there both times. Now after a while everything is just stuff. That's the problem. You make all of space and time your backyard and what do you have? A backyard. But you!" The Doctors said, standing up. "...you can see it. And Jared and his mates can see it. And when you lot see it, I see it."

"And that's the only reason you took me with you." Amy said.

"There was reasons."

"I was certainly hoping so. Does that mean I'm not the first then?" Amy asked, turning to look at the Doctor. "There have been others travelling with the both of you!"

"Yeah, sure, loads of them. But just friends, you know chums, pals, mates, buddies, not mates forget mates." The Doctor said.

"And out of all those friends, how many would you say, just out of curiosity, were girls?"

"Some of them I suppose…must have been…" The Doctor said.

"Yeah, some of them, um, they must have been girls." I said, sadly.

"Some?" Amy asked.

"It's hard to tell, it's a gray area…" The Doctor said.

"It really is hard to tell." I said, crossing my arms.

"No, it's not." Kirika said.

"You're hiding it on purpose." Shirabe said.

"Why not show her?" Maria asked.

"Under half, over half?" Amy said.

"Probably…slightly…little bit over?" The Doctor asked.

"Yup, I agree." I said, smiling.

"Hmm, young?" Amy asked.

"Everyone's young compared to me." The Doctor said.

"Hot?"

"No! No, no, no, no, no, none of them. Not really. Not at all. Probably not…" The Doctor said, hesitating.

"No, there's no way I hang out with hot girls." I said, looking down in embarrassment.

"Same." The Doctor said. "Maybe one or two…I didn't really notice."

"Neither do I." I said, thinking of how hot Yang and Chris are.

"Well this big old machine must have some kind of visual records…" Amy said.

"Nope, it does. And they're voice locked, Pond. There's no way you can get in there."

"Oh, voice locked. So I would just have to say 'show me all visual records of previous TARDIS inhabitants?'" Amy asked. "And I would have to say 'show me all visual records of previous companions Jared had?'"

"No. No, no, no, Jared means voice locked. I would have to say 'show me all visual records of previous TARDIS inhabitants?'" The Doctor asked.

"And I would have to say 'show me all visual records of previous companions I had?'" I asked, sipping on the bubble tea.

"Oh, thank you…" Amy said, turning to lean on the railing and look at a monitor.

The TARDIS scanner turned on too. It's of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, Penny Polendina. It then went to the Sword Art Online section with Asuna, Yuuki, Sinon, Silica, Lisbeth, and Leafa. The third section had Madoka Kaname, Sayaka Miki, Kyoko Sakura, Homura Akemi, Mami Tomoe, Nagisa Momoe, Yuma Chistose, Iroha Tamaki, Yachiyo Nanami, Tsuruno Yui, Felicia Mitsuki, Sana Futaba, Momoko Togame, Rena Minami, and Kaede Akino. The fourth section consisted of Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami. It finally landed on Hibiki Tachibana, Miku Kohinata, Chris Yukine, Tsubasa Kazanari, Maria Cadenzavna Eve, Shirabe Tsukuyomi, Kirika Akatsuki, and Elfnein.

"No! No! No! No! Oh…" The Doctor said, seeing a picture flash by of past female companions for him on the monitor.

"Oh yeah…" I said, looking at the picture flash by of past and current female companions for me on the monitor. "I forgot how many girls I had…"

"Wait, that's us?!" Kirika exclaimed.

"Yeah." Shirabe said, staring at the scanner.

"What are we doing there?" Maria asked.

"Oh Gandalf! Frodo!"Amy said, with her mouth open, impressed.

"Thanks! Thanks dear. Leave out the metal dog and the AI pixie, why don't you?" The Doctor asked, looking up at the ceiling.

"Is that a leather bikini? And is that Kirika in a wedding dress and Shirabe in a bunny outfit?" Amy asked, seeing loads images of Leela, Shirabe, and Kirika fly by.

"How did you get those?" Maria asked, staring at me.

"Um…" I said, getting uncomfortable. "Rory?"

"Right, that's it. You're right, Jared. Rory! We're gonna find Rory and we're gonna find him now!" The Doctor said, angrily.

"He's at his stag night…" Amy said, going back and forth between the monitor and the scanner.

"Well then…let's make it a great one." The Doctor said, pulling a lever and we're off.

(Open POV)

Pub...

Rory is on the phone, trying to make himself heard above the noise of his stag party. All the participants are wearing red t-shirts with Rory's Stag on the back and a picture of Rory and Amy inside a heart on the front.

"Hey! It's me. Hello. How are you?" Rory asked.

Amy's bedroom...

He is talking to the answerphone.

"The reason for this call is because I haven't told you for seven hours that I love you, which is a scandal, and even if we weren't getting married tomorrow, I'd ask you to marry me anyway." Rory said, his voice on the answer phone.

Pub…

"Yes, I would, because you are smashing." Rory said, and a giant pink cake is wheeled in to the tune 'The Stripper'. "Oh. Oh. Oh, blimey. I've. I've, er got to go. I'll see you tomorrow."

His companions push Rory forward, "Out. Out. Out."

The Doctor bursts out of the fake cake and silence falls.

"Rory! That's a relief. I thought I'd burst out of the wrong cake, again. That reminds me, there's a girl standing outside in a bikini. Could someone let her in and give her a jumper? Lucy? Lovely girl. Diabetic. Now then, Rory. We need to talk about your fiancé. She tried to kiss me. Tell you what, though. You're a lucky man. She's a great kisser." The Doctor said, and someone drops his beer glass and it smashes on the floor. "Funny how you can say something in your head and it sounds fine."

Tardis…

The Doctor is hanging underneath the console platform, doing some welding. Rory and Amy are there. Jared is eating some chocolate chip cookies with Shirabe and Kirika. Maria is sitting there, looking around.

"Oh, the life out there, it dazzles. I mean, it blinds you to the things that are important. I've seen it devour relationships and plans." The Doctor said.

"Was that supposed to happen?" Shirabe asked.

"Yup." Jared said, happily. "It's meant to do that."

"Because for one person to have seen all that, to taste the glory and then go back, it will tear you apart. So, Jared and I are sending you somewhere, together." The Doctor said. "And we're bringing some Symphogear wielders with us."

"Whoa. What, like a date? And a family trip for those three?" Amy asked.

"Yup, it can be anywhere you want. It's your early wedding present, Ponds. It's also a date. It can be any time you want." Jared said, happily. "There's one condition though. It has to be amazing. Fun and safe too, for the kids. Any suggestions, Spaceman?"

"Yes, I do. The Moulin Rouge in 1890. The first Olympic Games. Think of it as a wedding present, because it's either this or tokens." The Doctor said.

"Wait, you're taking us to the arcade?" Shirabe asked.

"The arcade! Yes!" Kirika said, excitedly.

"No. We're not going there." Maria said. "You two and Jared are childish and impulsive. No."

"It's a lot to take in, isn't it? Tiny box, huge room inside. What's that about? Let me explain." The Doctor said, walking towards Rory.

"It's another dimension." Rory said.

"It's basically another dimension. What?"

"After what happened with Prisoner Zero, I've been reading up on all the latest scientific theories. FTL travel, parallel universes."

"I like the bit when someone says it's bigger on the inside. I always look forward to that."

"So, this date and family vacation. Jared and I are kind of done with running down corridors. What do you think, Rory, Maria?" Amy asked.

"How about somewhere romantic and safe for Shirabe and Kirika?" The Doctor asked.
