The Triumph

This is the fifth book to my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Madoka Magica, Symphogear, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, Madoka Magica, Symphogear, and SAO in there, all of us interacting with each other. A couple of weeks or months have passed since Team RNJR and I have made it to Haven. And there are some reunions along the way too. The Ponds are here too, which is really fantastic. It's gonna be fantastic, and it will take a while for things to go back to how they were, if they ever go back to where they were.

Goodbye Leadworth

Tardis...

Night time. The sound of the Tardis wakes Amy up. She runs outside.

"Sorry about running off earlier. Brand new Tardis. Bit exciting. Just had a quick hop to the moon and back to run her in. She's ready for the big stuff now." The Doctor said.

"And I was over at Remnant. I brought over some friends of mine." Jared said, happily. "These are who I wanted you to meet."

"Ruby Rose." Ruby said.

"Nora Valkyrie." Nora said.

"Jaune Arc." Jaune said.

"Lie Ren." Ren said.

"It's you. The two of you came back." Amy said.

"Of course we came back. We always come back. I kept my promise of coming back. Is there something wrong with that, Amy?" Jared asked.

"And Doctor, you kept the clothes." Amy said.

"Well, um, the Doctor and Jared saved the whole world." Ruby said. "The whole planet for the millionth time."

"From the Master. It's what they do." Nora said, smirking.

"Yeah, shoot me. I kept the clothes." The Doctor said.

"Including the bow tie." Amy said.

"Yeah, it's cool. Bow ties are cool." The Doctor said.

"Are you from another planet?" Amy asked.

"Yeah."

"Okay. And how about you, Jared?"

"I'm from another universe. And so is Team RNJR. You guys, the Doctor, and Team RNJR were fairy tales to me. So I thought, why not? Why not travel with a whole bunch of fairy tales? So, what do you think?" Jared asked, leaning against the TARDIS.

"Of what?" Amy asked.

"Want to check some other planets with us?" Ren asked.

"What does that mean?" Amy asked.

"It means. Well, it means come with us." The Doctor said.

"Where?"

"We get to go wherever you like, Amelia. It's your choice." Jared said, laughing a lot.

"All that stuff that happened. The hospital, the spaceships, Prisoner Zero." Amy said.

"Oh, don't worry, that's just the beginning. There's loads more." The Doctor said.

"Yeah, but those things, those amazing things, all that stuff. It happened before the space Titanic. And then afterwards, there were living fat, ATMOS, and a planet hurtling towards Earth. Us stopping Prisoner Zero together. That was two years ago." Amy said, angrily.

"Oh! Oops."

"Yeah."

"So that's…" Ruby said.

"Fourteen years!"

"So, it's been fourteen years since you ate fish custard with the Raggedy Doctor." Jared said, sadly. "And I missed all that due to me wanting to preserve the timelines."

"Well, Amy Pond, the girl who waited, you've waited long enough." The Doctor said.

"When I was a kid, you said there was a swimming pool and a library, and the swimming pool was in the library." Amy said.

"Wait, the swimming pool ended up in the library?" Nora asked. "When did that happen? Oh, I know it'll turn up."

"Are you coming or not?" Jaune asked.

"No." Amy said.

"You wanted to come fourteen years ago." Ruby said.

"I grew up."

"Don't worry. I'll soon fix that. And I fixed helped Jared from wanting to grow up away from fairy tales." The Doctor said.

He opens the Tardis door, and he follows Amy in with Jared and Team RNJR.

Tardis...

"Well? Anything you want to say? Any passing remarks? I've heard them all." The Doctor said.

"I'm in my nightie." Amy said.

"Oh, don't worry. Team RWBY met in their pajamas. Well, together. Before they started their school life on Beacon." Jared said, smiling.

"There's plenty of clothes in the wardrobe." Ruby said.

"Oh, don't forget the swimming pool!" Nora said.

"So, all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will Where do you want to start?" The Doctor asked.

"You are so sure that I'm coming." Amy said.

"Yeah, we are."

"Why?"

"Well, you're the Scottish girl in the English village, and I was the Filipino boy living in the American suburbs. I know how that feels, Amy." Jared said.

"Oh, do you?"

"You lived here most of your life, all of those years. Plus you never lost that accent. Mine changed a bit. So, yeah, you're coming."

"Can you get me back for tomorrow morning?" Amy asked.

"It's a time machine. I can get you back five minutes ago. Why, what's tomorrow?" The Doctor asked.

"Nothing. Nothing. Just you know, stuff."

"All right, then. Back in time for stuff." The Doctor said.

A sonic screwdriver rises from a slot in the console. A new version of Aqours appeared on the TARDIS console, it has a hint of white roses on the music note pendant.

"Oh! A new one! Lovely. Thanks, dear." The Doctor said.

"Aqours?" Jared asked.

"Hi. This is version 2.0. I've come with some weapon fusions." Aqours said.

"Did you just say weapon fusions?"

"For example. You can fuse Crescent Rose and Igalima together. It's called Juliet's Rose. It has the abilities of the originals."

"No way…" Ruby said. "That's so cool!"

The Doctor uses an old typewriter wired into the console.

"Why me?" Amy asked.

"Why not?" The Doctor asked.

"No, seriously. You all are asking me to run away with you in the middle of the night. It's a fair question. Why me?" Amy asked.

"I don't know, I want to have some fun. I missed having that with the Doctor and Team RNJR." Jared said, leaning against the TARDIS console.

"Jared's right. Do we have to have a reason?" The Doctor asked.

"People always have a reason." Amy said.

"Do I look like people?"

"Yes."

"Been knocking around on my own for a while. My choice, but I've started talking to myself all the time. It's giving me earache." The Doctor said.

"You're lonely. That's it? Just that?" Amy asked.

"Just that. Promise."

"And how about you, Jared? Why do you travel with the Doctor?" Amy asked.

"I want to become a huntsman. Well, a hero. I wanted to save people and fought for what's right. What I think it's right." Jared said, happily. "So I like going back and forth between this universe and the universe they're from. To help others along the way too."

"Okay." Amy said.

"Are you okay?" Ruby asked. "This place. When I first saw it. It was impossible. It can make people a bit sick or shocked."

"I'm fine. It's just, Doctor, there's a whole world in here, just like you said. It's all true. I thought. Well, I started to think that maybe you were just like a madman with a box." Amy said.

"Amy Pond, there's something you'd better understand about me, because it's important, and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a madman with a box. Ha ha! Yeah. Goodbye Leadworth, hello everything." The Doctor said, setting the Tardis in flight.

The TARDIS dematerialise in the garden, then in Amy's bedroom is where the wedding dress and its veil hangs up on the back of the door.

"So, why is Amy insisting on coming with us?" Jaune asked.

"Oh, it's the night before her wedding day." Jared said, sitting on the steps. "She wanted to run away with us."

"How do you know that?" Ren asked. "Shouldn't that be more important to her?"

"Right now, she doesn't know that. But she will."

"What do we do?" Ruby asked.

"I guess you want us to play along." Jaune said. "Pretend that we don't know."

"Yup." Jared said, smirking. "I do."

Amy stands in nightie, looking at the TARDIS console room, "Why's it a phone box?"

"Sorry what?" The Doctor asked.

"On the outside it said police box, why have you labeled a time machine police box, why not time machine? Is that too obvious? And what is a police box? Do police men come in in boxes? How many do you get? Are you a police man?" Amy asked.

"Did she have a sugar rush?" Ren asked.

"Says the one who talked really fast when in front of Professor Ozpin. On the night you met him." Jared said, laughing a lot. "You were fangirling, for sure."

"I was not fangirling. Maybe I was."

The Doctor looked at Amy.

"No, look at your hair. Actually just LOOK at your hair! Do you ever look at your hair and think 'whoa…it just won't stop? And my chin! Look I'm wearing a bow tie, shoot me now'? Am I gabbling?" Amy asked.

"A bit, yeah." Jaune said.

"The question stands."

"Was it the first question?" Ren asked.

"Yes."

"Well it's not really a police box, which by the way is a special kind of telephone box that police men used to use." The Doctor said.

"Right, telephone box. There's a light on the top, do you need to change the bulb?" Amy asked.

"Yes, he does." Jared said. "Several times. Don't know why. Amy, just stop talking fast, deep breath."

Amy takes a breath, "Why doesn't the air get out? It is made of wood…oh…you've got a wooden time machine. Do you feel stupid? Sorry, back on the bow tie."

"It's camouflage. It's disguised as a police telephone box from 1963. Every time the TARDIS materializes in a new location within the first nanosecond of landing it analyzes its surroundings, calculates a 12-dimensional data map of everything within a thousand mile radius, and determines which outer shell would blend in best with the environment…and then it disguises itself as a police telephone box from 1963." The Doctor said.

"Oh, why?"

"It's probably a bit of a fault actually. I've been meaning to check…"

"What, it's a police box every time?"

"Yeah, I suppose, now you mention…"

"How long's it been doing that?"

"Oh…not long…"

"He's so lying." Ruby said, snickering.

"How long has it actually been stuck like that?" Jaune asked.

"Since 1963. When the Doctor had the face of an old man." Jared said, sadly.

"Ok, ok, but what about the windows? There are windows on the outside but where do they go? Is it a cry for help?" Amy asked.

"What?" Nora asked. "What is?"

"The bow tie!" Amy said, angrily.

"Bow ties are cool." The Doctor said.

"And you're an alien." Amy said.

"Yeah! Well, in your terms yeah, in MY terms…" The Doctor said, tapping Amy's forehead. "YOU, Jared, and Team RNJR are aliens. In quite a few people's terms probably."

"What kind of alien?" Amy asked.

"Well, you know, a nice one. Definitely one of the nice ones."

"So you're like a uh, space…" Amy said, poking the Doctor. "...squid? Or something…Are you like a tiny little slug in a human suit? Is that why you walk like that?"

"Amy! This is me. This…" The Doctor said, slapping Amy's hands to his cheeks." ...is what I really look like."

"Well that's fine then!" Amy said, slapping the Doctor's cheeks.

"Ow! Good."

"Ok. Ok, I think I'm done there…" Amy said, laughing a little.

"Does Amy remind you a bit of Weiss?" Ruby asked.

"The ice queen?" Jared asked. "Are you referring to the temper?"

"Yes."

"Oh, but Amy isn't a know-it-all like her."

"Remember those times you tried to ask Weiss out!" Ruby said, excitedly.

"Yeah…" Jaune said, sadly. "I do. That was embarrassing. When I really loved Pyrrha."

"Amy Pond…" The Doctor, pulling a lever. "...we've barely started…" He pulls another lever. "Cos…" The Doctor runs to the door with Amy, Jared, and Team RNJR following. "Do you know what I keep in here?"

The Doctor stops before doors.

"What?" Amy asked.

"Absolutely everything…" The Doctor said, opening the doors to show Amy space. "Anything fit your fancy?"

"I love that view." Jared said, in awe. "I never get tired of it. Space…"

"We're in space…" Amy said, looking at the Doctor and Jared.

"No, THAT's space. Right out those doors." Ruby said.

"But it can't be."

"But it is space. Why don't you believe us?"

"But it's like, it's like, it's like…" Amy said, looking out. "...special effects?"

"Like what?" The Doctor asked.

"It is isn't it? It's not real."

"Get out."

"What?"

"No, seriously…" The Doctor said, pushing Amy out. "Get out!"

The Doctor rushes forward to grab Amy's ankle.

Amy is floating in space, with the Doctor holding on to her ankle from the open door of the Tardis.

"I'm Jared Shay. When I was a college student, I was into TV shows, movies, and video games. A couple years ago, I ended up in this universe. Where everything I thought was fake was real. The Doctor, Magical Girls, Symphogear, Sword Art Online…" Jared said, telepathically.

"Come on, Pond." The Doctor said.

"And Team RWBY was real too when they popped up in the TARDIS with me. Oh, how shocked I was. I'm able to go to their world and back to this one. Now I want to save people along the way too. Help others. As well as see all of time and space too."

The Doctor pulls Amy back inside the Tardis, "Now do you believe us?"

"Okay, your box is a spaceship. It's really, really a spaceship. We are in space! What are we breathing?" Amy asked.

"I guess he extended the air shell." Ruby said, as Jared grabbed her hand. "That explains it. We're fine."

They are above the city in space.

"Now that's interesting. Twenty ninth century. Solar flares roast the earth, and the entire human race packs its bags and moves out till the weather improves. Whole nations." The Doctor said, running back to the console with Jared and Team RNJR and the doors close.

"Doctor?" Amy asked, outside.

"Migrating to the stars."

"Jared?"

"Isn't that amazing?"

"It is." Jared said. "Oh, god, I miss this."

"Doctor! Jared!" Amy said, outside.

They have shut Amy outside.

"Well, come on. I've found us a spaceship. This is the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland. All of it, bolted together and floating in the sky."

"What is that?" Ruby asked.

"It's Starship UK." Jared said, happily. "It's Britain, but metal."

"That's not just a ship, that's an idea. That's a whole country, living and laughing and shopping. Searching the stars for a new home." The Doctor said.

"Can we go out and see?" Amy asked.

"Course we can. But first, there's a thing."

"A thing?"

"An important thing. In fact, Thing One. We are observers only. That's the one rule I've always stuck to in all my travels. I never get involved in the affairs of other peoples or planets."

"He's lying." Ren said. "He will get involved."

"When doesn't he?" Jaune asked.

"He's like you, of course." Ruby said, looking at Jared. "Wanting to help others. Especially kids."

"Yup." Jared said.

An image of Mandy waiting by the lifts is on the scanner.

"Ooo, that's interesting." The Doctor said.

"So we're like a wildlife documentary, yeah? Because if they see a wounded little cub or something, they can't just save it, they've got to keep filming and let it die. It's got to be hard. I don't think I could do that. Don't you find that hard, being all, like, detached and cold?" Amy asked.

"What's taking her so long?" Nora asked, mouthing it. "Doesn't she know she can come out?"

Amy sees the Doctor, Jared, and Team RNJR on the scanner, speaking to the weeping Mandy, Doctor? Jared?"

The Doctor gestures for her to join them.
