BRIA
"Excuse me, mam?"
Before I get used to the slightly cold air of the outdoors, I heard an unfamiliar voice calling for me. I turned to see a waiter in his black and white uniform standing at the door that opened into the lawns.
"Yes?"
"It is cold outside, mam. Do you need anything?" The young man asked in concern which made me smile.
I shook my head. "No, thank you!"
The man nodded but lingered for some time, thinking about something. I wondered what?
"Is there anything more?" I asked when he didn't leave.
"No. Enjoy mam!" With that said, he disappeared behind the doors again.
What a weird man!
Ignoring him, I began strolling on the grass. It felt good again to be in silence. That silence was what I longed for all this time. But the pricking feeling of loneliness didn't wait to crush me down under its weight.
