Chapter 14: Battle Preparations

So the 24 legions of the best forces that the Altarum empire has begun their march from their capital just to engage a force that has an unknown size and strength, cause of this half of them are worried.

Soldier: "Commander Achilles, night appears to become."

Achilles: " We shall take a break but after 14 hours and 14 hours of sleep, if it was not worth for this discontent for 2 hours more to march I would have reached there a bit sooner."

The troops of the Altarum Empire began setting up tents from their caravan and when they were finished, they went inside and rested.

They slept peacefully and disbanded the tents and placed them back and continued the march until the day was coming down.

So they repeated this and when they woke up they started planning what to do in this campaign.

Achilles: Vice commanders! , come and help me plan this operation to show that we mean we mean business.

Vice commanders:" Yea sir!"

All 3 vice commanders entered the tent and began to plan with Achilles.

Achilles: "We are two days away from the capital Ranatel and we are marching for a location, we have no idea about."

Vice commander:" I am James Ryan, from my experience my previous commander was defeated by the Deri Empire for not forming a shield wall while entering the forest."

A messenger arrived and gave a message that holds information that will change Achilles' plans.

Courier: " This letter is from king Alexander, please give it to your commander."

A soldier rushed into the tent and told them about the letter.

So Achilles approached the soldier and collected the letter and started to read it.

' It appears a caravan of our people is being transported towards our new enemy, the wagons have troops men and women maybe they allied.

Achilles:" Half of us will have to take the west of the mountain and the rest of us east to take back our people."

One day ago.

Aliciana Victona messaged his Soul Reapers to go out and deliver the signed pact.

Aliciana:" My Soul Reapers, collect this letter and give it to the king of the Deri Empire."

So the Soul Reapers arrived and collected the letter then went to the Deri Empire capital.

The Soul Reapers decided to ask on asking for the name of the capital.

They used the gate and arrived, but terror almost took king Leonadus face but was calm after seeing that it was only the previous guest.

Leonardus:" Welcome back, I have sent 10,000 people cause one of my royal mages that made the letter with the spelling contract of kings told me, so I trust you ask me anything."

Soul Reaper:" Can we have the name of this city?"

Leonardus:" This city is called Sarius it was named after my great-great ancestor who fought off the humans that enslaved us 1200 years ago."

Soul Reaper:" Thank you, we will report this to our Lord Aliciana."

So they used gate and told Azuki Tamayo the news.

'My lord, people are being sent here to help you build a nation and the place we arrived at is called Sarius.'

Aliciana Victona: " Excellent work, is there anything else."

Soul Reaper: "They have a spell called a contract of the king that tells when it is signed."

' I have never heard of that spell before, maybe it is a none combat spell from the game.'

So Achilles and his men broke camp and split into two groups to engage in two fronts.

Meanwhile in Lulu village.

All of the forces sent there and already there made it look like a small fortress while on the mountain, it is just a small bunker with a tunnel to hold 500 troops and 5 soldiers stood guard within it.

The Twins Of The Battlefield took another look at the location and spotted them moving and reported it.

' We have spotted enemy movement 9,000 clicks of us and they are separating for some reason.'

Tanya Jitour: " What did you just say?"

Twins Of The Battlefield: The enemy is separating."

So Tanya Jitour messaged Azuki Tamayo about what is going on.

' Lord Aliciana the enemy may be going for the supply line.'

So Azuki Tamayo messaged Tamia to best the enemy back.

Aliciana Victona:" Tamia, the enemy may be going after our supply lines send a force to destroy them before they reach there."

Tamia:" All SU27 pilots please get ready for your within 3 days destroy the enemy force encroaching on my our territory."

SU 27 Pilots:" Ok we will be sent back to the hole they crawled out"

So the pilots prepared themselves for the assault and Tamia messaged Tanya Jitour.

Tamia: " Did you message my Aliciana when there was going to be an assault and not to me, are you trying to get me demoted or something?

Tanya Jitour:" Last time, I checked you do not like my optional suggestions."

Tamia: " I am sorry"

Tanya Jitour: " Apology accepted."

' I hate that bitch, for she knows what she is doing and I will show her what I can do without her soon'

Within the Deri Empire, the Altarum Empire launched a counterattack and stopped their phrase 2 offensive and due to them being repelled, they had to retreat to the forest.

Soldier: "Commander Baus, we have attacked in the manner you wanted, we were winning and yellow circles appeared and destroyed some of our forces."

Baus:" I know that but it is magic, so the battle was unfair and unbalanced."

Soldier 2: "I have heard the best forces that were causing the most issue in the south is heading to meet an invading force."

Baus:" One of you go and discuss, a ceasefire."

Soldier:" Yes sir!"
