"Mhm." The Ancient Elder nodded.

They were all confounded. Not just one, not just two but three people with God-tier physiques and a Divine-grade bloodline have arrived at their doorstep.

Excitement doesn't even describe what the Supreme Elders are experiencing currently.

After a few moments of being amazed, the Supreme Elders regained their composure. It was slightly embarrassing for them to display such a behaviour in front of the three young men considering the age gap.

"When did you three start cultivating?" The Sect master asked.

"We didn't." Ray answered.

The Sect Master frowned, "What do you mean?"

"We don't know anything about cultivation." Ash responded.

"I see!" The Sect Master nodded, "The awakening has boosted your cultivation by a bit."

"Although you three are one year late to cultivation. With your talents, the gap will be bridged eventually."

"We will now discuss plans involving you three. So, why don't you go outside and explore?" One of the Supreme Elders who looked like a bald middle-aged man with a black moustache spoke up.

"We'll get back to you when we're done." The Ancient Elder mentioned.

They shrugged and agreed, "Alright!"

Walking out of the main hall, the three took a fresh deep breath. Without saying anything, they slowly followed a path while looking around.

"We don't know how precious our talents are since we're clueless as fuck." Bryan remarked.

"That's why we need to visit a library if they have one." Ray said.

"Aw man, I don't see the dragons." Ash looked up at the sky to find nothing.

"They're probably roaming around somewhere guarding the sect." Ray reassured him.

"I guess so…"

"Everything feels so different. I can sense a lot more of these natural energies around us." Bryan stated.

"Yeah, me too." Ash nodded.

"It should be normal considering we're at the strongest sect in the world." Ray said while sensing the natural energy around them.

"It feels like kinda weird though. Using our senses to probe the outside world and observe what our eyes can't see." Ash shook his head.

Ray shrugged and said, "We gotta get used to it. Otherwise, it'll hold us back."

"Ray is right. Who knows what else we have to adapt to." Bryan groaned in annoyance.

"Their cultures, politics, mindset and so on. There's too many to think of but we do it step by step."

Ash nodded, "Yeah, baby steps."

Ray frowned, "I am scared about one thing though."

Bryan looked at him, "What is it?"

"That one day, we will have to kill someone. It's not an option nor do we have the choice to deny it. We will be forced to kill."

This immediately dampened the mood of the three. Back on Earth, the three were involved in a lot of fights but it never reached to the point of murdering someone. Killing someone will and always be never easy. For them though, they will be forced to accept the reality they're in and eventually experience being a cultivator.

"I understand. It's a must and we have to do it." Bryan said with immense determination.

"You're crazy, you know that, Bryan?" Ash smiled.

"Well, aren't we all?" Ray said.

"True." Ash shrugged with a smile.

"When the time comes, I trust that we will all succeed." Ray put an arm around their shoulders although he looked funny with his arm around the tall Bryan.

"Yooo, look at that!" Ash pointed at the sky.

"What? What's there?" Ray and Bryan looked at the sky and couldn't find anything.

"Look at that multi-coloured line in the sky." Ash specified.

"…" Bryan instead just stared at him with a deadpan look.

"What??"

"That's a rainbow, you dumbass!" Ray facepalmed.

"Oh, that makes sense now." Ash simply nodded.

They continued with their walk until they were interrupted by someone.

"What are you three doing here?"

*EEEEKKKK*

Ash jumped up in fright when he heard someone speak right behind them. They turned around and saw a young woman wearing a pure black outfit with a golden crest resembling the sect's symbol on the right side of her chest.

The young woman had silky black hair and high arched eyebrows, giving her a fierce look. With a pair of ebony eyes and a honey-coloured skin tone, she had two short swords sheathed at her hips.

"F-Fuck, that scared the shit out of me…" Ash bent his back and held his chest in extreme fright.

"You still get jump scared too easily man." Ray chuckled.

"We're just roaming around here." Bryan simply responded to the young woman. The young woman frowned in confusion as she had never seen them before in the sect.

"Then who brought you three here?" The young woman questioned in a strict tone.

"Yo, why don't you relax!" Ray put his hands up.

"Did anyone ever tell you that you're a rude girl?" Bryan perked his eyebrow and said with confidence.

"What are you going to do about it?" The young woman retorted with a harsh look.

"Nothing." Bryan shrugged and they continued walking.

"Wait!"

The young woman frowned and a burst of pressure descended onto them, stopping the three on their tracks.

"Ugh…" Ash groaned in irritation. The level of pressure that she was emitting wasn't enough to suppress them but still made them uncomfortable.

"What the fuck is her problem?!" Bryan was getting pissed off.

"Let's see what she has to say." Ray sighed and waited for her to continue.

The young woman was slightly surprised to see them standing and still talking, despite unleashing her aura onto them.

She frowned and questioned them, "I will give you one chance to answer me. Who brought you here?"

"Or what?" Bryan impulsively responded.

"I will capture and imprison the three of you for the count of disobeying a member of the Judgement Hall." The young woman fiercely said.

Ray looked at the both of them, 'Oh no…'

The young woman's eyes constricted as she felt her body trembling from the inside. She sensed that something was trying to suppress her body and strength.

She frowned and saw Bryan's hair glowing in crimson. His pair of scarlet red eyes now had an otherworldly look making the young woman feel innately inferior.

Ash marvelled at Bryan, "Damn, he's glowing now."

Ray noticed the young woman's distress and contemplated, 'What is Bryan doing to her right now?'

'What…? What is happening to me? Is it because of him?'

The young woman had it enough and she unleashed the full power of her aura. The pressure on the three multiplied by a lot and now it was hard for them to even move.

"Ugh!" All three of them groaned in difficulty and the crimson state of Bryan disappeared.

The young woman walked towards them to apprehend them and complete her job.

"Wait…!"

The young woman stopped in her tracks and saw it was Ray who spoke up. She waited and gestured for him to continue.

'At least, she has patience.' Ray scoffed inside and said with a smile, "Before, you asked us who brought us here, right? Well, then let me tell you."

"Go on." The young woman nodded.

"It was the Ancient Elder." Ray shrugged, albeit with difficulty.

"Are you trying to mock me?" The young woman questioned in a frosty tone.

"Huh?" Ray was confused.

"The Ancient Elder is a revered existence of our Celestial Nirvana Sect. He stands above all and everyone here follows him as their role model. Do you think he has enough time for you and...what gives you the right to use his name?" The young woman said furiously.

"Umm…" Ray was genuinely baffled on how someone could be so stupid.

"I think she has a screw loose." Ash muttered.

"…" Bryan simply stared at her with a frigid look.

"Enough is enough. I've had enough of your time-wasting."

She walked forwards and was about to reach them until she felt the most soul-shaking sound of her entire life.

*ROOOAAAARRRRRRR*

A mighty roar bellowed from above the four and a huge shadow resembling a dragon gently descended onto the ground beside the three, sending waves of wind around the vicinity. The roar easily shattered the pressure gushing out from the young woman.

The young woman was shocked and rooted on the spot. She didn't dare try and move lest she incurred the wrath of one of the sect's guardians.

*Phooo*

"*Sigh*, now that feels so much better." Ray stretched his arms.

"Hey, Nirvana!" Ash waved at the dragon, who turned out to be Nirvana. Bryan and Ray didn't forget to greet Nirvana.

"Hello, younglings." Nirvana said in a gentle voice.

"Thanks for saving us." Ash thanked and explained what happened.

In the meantime, while all of this was happening, the young woman felt like her world was turned upside down. Nirvana, the brutal and the most ferocious of the two guardians was treating the three young men in front of her with gentleness.

The young woman suddenly knelt down on one knee and loudly shouted, "I pay respect to the Guardian of the sect."

Nirvana simply snorted in response but the young woman felt a terrible and deathly aura surround her. She felt something that she never felt before for the first time in her life, true fear.

Nirvana narrowed her black daunting eyes and said to the young woman, "Why is the disciple of the Sect Master so-"

"-stupid?" Ash finished for her. Ray chuckled and Nirvana simply gave Ash a side eye.

"So, she's the Sect Master's disciple?" Bryan stared at her with obvious annoyance.

'Is what he said previously true? The Ancient Elder brought them here?' The young woman thought and felt disappointed in herself.

Taking a deep breath, she stood up and bowed at the three and apologized, "I would like to apologize for my rude behaviour and brashness. I should have taken your word into account considering no one can enter the main section of the sect without the required approval."

"Haha, it's alright." Ray waved it off.

"It's cool. At least, it was an experience, right?" Ash simply smiled.

Bryan, on the other hand, didn't say anything and no longer paid any attention to her.

The young woman obviously understood why but she couldn't force him to accept her apology.

*Whoosh*

*Whoosh*

Out of nowhere, two figures appeared right above the group. They were the Sect Master and the Ancient Elder.

The young woman, once again knelt down on one knee and voiced out, "Disciple pays respect to the Ancient Elder and Master!"

"Stand up, Kayla." The Sect Master simply said. The young woman named Kayla nodded and stood up.

"I saw everything that happened. Kayla, considering your cultivation level and status, I am a bit disappointed that you didn't handle it with maturity. What's done is done, go back to your house and reflect on your actions." The Sect Master ordered.

"Yes, Master." Kayla bowed and acknowledged his order.

"Wait, young one." The Ancient Elder spoke up.

Kayla's eyes widened as she didn't expect the Ancient Elder to call her out. She simply stood and looked at the Ancient Elder.

"Nobody in the world is exempted from defeat and disappointment."

"Your desire to perform and earn the perfect image leaves you vulnerable." The Ancient Elder stopped at that.

Kayla had her head slightly down, contemplating the Ancient Elder's words.

"You can leave now, Kayla." The Sect Master interrupted her. Kayla shook her head in stupor and left the vicinity.

"Haha! I hope she didn't cause you much trouble?" The Sect Master smiled.

"With Nirvana here, everything turned out to be alright." Ash replied.

Ray simply shrugged and pointed at Bryan. Bryan sighed and said, "What's done is done."

The Sect Master's eyebrows twitched in irritation and coupled with his smile; he looked kind of silly.

*Cough Cough*

Ray coughed in second-hand embarrassment and Ash just chuckled at Bryan's stubborn attitude.

The Ancient Elder butted in, "Anyways, we have decided what to do with you three."

The three turned towards the Ancient Elder with rapt attention and waited for him to continue.
