Extra Large?

"Let's not waste any more time!"

Selene stood short amidst the group, her eyes glowing with an icy brilliance. The air around her seemed to chill, frost forming on nearby surfaces.

Ash narrowed his eyes in surprise, slightly taken aback by this unexpected scene. He knew what this entailed.

"Selene, you…you awakened the element of ice?" Ash's voice betrayed a mix of astonishment and curiosity.

Before Selene could respond, ebony-black tentacles slowly emerged from the creature's body, subsequently gaining the group's attention as they immediately tensed up.

*Swoosh*

The sinister creature's long, sinewy tentacles lashed out with lightning speed towards Selene. Its intention was clear; to ensnare and crush her within their grasp. However, Selene, emanating an icy aura, swiftly reacted to the imminent threat.

Crouching low, Selene's reflexes kicked in, propelling her upwards with a powerful leap. Her hands spread wide, she unleashed a torrential rain of icy energy, hurtling towards the tentacles. As the freezing energy collided with the tentacles, they gradually succumbed to the icy grip, freezing to a halt.

*Skkkreeeeaaaaakkkkkkk*

A wretched cry of abhorrence echoed from the creature as it frantically flung its frozen tentacles in a wild frenzy. The shattered pieces scattered in every direction, but to Selene's dismay, the tentacles swiftly regenerated from their stumps, reassembling themselves whole once more. The creature's body wriggled with disgust as numerous additional tentacles emerged, thrusting towards the group of five with renewed aggression.

Ray's Lightning Wings crackled with electricity as he soared above, evading the flailing tentacles with agile maneuvers. He was fully aware of the excruciating pain they could inflict upon impact. Yet, he harbored no intention of evading without retaliation. Empowered by his Lightning Wings, he prepared to unleash a load of bashing onto the creature who was busy and mindlessly flinging away its tentacles.

Meanwhile, Ash's expression hardened, a frosty look etched across his face. Gripping the scythe firmly in his hands, he swung the formidable scythe at the onslaught of approaching tentacles. With calculated precision, he sliced through the oncoming limbs, severing them cleanly. But the immense strength of the tentacles reverberated through Ash's hand, causing a slight numbness.

"Everyone, listen! Too much of my energy has already been used up while dealing with Yorak. I will use Moonlit Veil on all of you but I won't be able to aid everyone with attacking."

Luna worried shout echoed in their ears as they subtly nodded, much to Luna's gratification.

'Hopefully, I can withstand it for much longer…'

Luna placed herself in an inconspicuous corner before unleashing her skill.

"Moonlit Veil!"

Luna's eyes brightened with intensity as she summoned forth the essence of the lunar energy. A shimmering cloak of moonlight found themselves covering the bodies of the other four.

Bryan observed his body and the changes provided by the Moonlit Veil. 'Wonderful…'

His whole body blazed with an indomitable energy as he channeled his energy into his hands. He moved with a heavy speed, bloomed by the Moonlit Veil, ducking, weaving and delivering powerful Phantasmal Fists to any tentacles that approached him.

The Phantasmal Fists pounded against the slimy flesh each impact echoing with a resounding thud.

However, despite their efforts, the creature seemed unaffected by their onslaught. Its grotesque form soon absorbed the tentacles back into its body, leaving it virtually unscathed.

*Howl*

As Selene's icy aura surged forth with power, she summoned a blizzard of freezing winds, swirling around the abomination with a bone-chilling intensity.

The creature opened its dripping mouth and spat out an orb of yellow liquid that quickly shot towards Selene, who was in the air. With the help of the Moonlit Veil, Selene narrowly dodged the yellow orb as it splashed onto the wall. Wisps of smoke arose from the impact as the yellow liquid dissolved the wall, leaving nothing behind.

'That was close!'

The air grew heavy with frost, and shards of ice formed in the wake of her blizzard. With a swift motion of her hand, Selene counterattacked and directed the shards of ice towards the creature, hoping to pierce its defense.

Simultaneously, Bryan, Ash and Ray launched their own attacks, casting a radiant glow upon the battlefield. Gigantic Phantasmal Fists, crackling Lightning Wings and the arc slashes of an icy scythe intertwined with the Selene's attack.

The combined attack cascaded towards the abomination of a creature; a symphony of attacks aimed to create a devastating blow to the target.

*Skkrreeeeaaaaaakkkkkkk*

*BOOM*

The impact caused a resounding boom as the creature was engulfed with a cloud of smoke. The group were unaware of the outcome of the attack.

*Swish*

With a swift, dismissive motion of the creature's hand, the lingering smoke from the group's attacks dispersed, revealing the disheartening truth, they had inflicted minimal damage upon the abomination's resilient form. The sheer resilience of the abomination sent waved of frustration through the group.

"For fuck's sake…" Ash couldn't help but express his exasperation with an audible grumble.

A grim chuckle escaped Bryan's lips, though it held little mirth. "Haha, of course it wouldn't go down so easily."

"We need to find its weakness, something that can penetrate its defenses." Selene suggested, her voice tinged with a hint of urgency, as she dodged another yellow orb spat out by the creature.

Ray, his brows furrowed in deep concentration, his mind racing for a strategy, as he surveyed the hall. His eyes came to an abrupt stop on a particular area, being the altar.

"The portal is still there…" Ray muttered. His sharp eyes caught sight of the blood-red portal, still pulsating with an eerie energy atop the altar. A spark of realization ignited within him as he assessed the situation, Pushing the creature back into the portal seemed like their only hope, but it would be an arduous task given their struggles to even inflict significant damage upon it.

"We have a chance!" Ray's abruptly spoke up as the others perked their ears in rapt attention as they simultaneously focused on dodging and counterattacking the creature.

Despite the creature's incredible defense and scary attacks, its body was like a huge blob and thus, its speed is very slow.

"The portal is still there on the altar. If we can somehow lead the creature towards the portal, we might have a chance at pushing it back into the portal from where it came from." He explained, his voice steady despite the mounting odds.

The group exchanged glances, their eyes reflecting with understanding and determination. They knew the risks involved, but they also understood that they had no other viable options at hand.

"Leading it to the portal should be considerably easy since it doesn't look to be intelligent." Selene gave her observatory findings to the group.

Ray nodded and continued, "If one of us can grab its attention, we can lead it to the portal."

However, the task at hand posed a significant challenge. The creature's formidable defense, slow speed, and overwhelming attack power made it a daunting opponent to manipulate despite its low intelligence.

"Careful, everyone!" Luna reassuringly yelled at the back as she exhaustively sat on the ground.

Selene's eyes turned cold as she extended her right hand, and muttered, "Ice Spear!"

From the palm of her hand, a torrent of frigid energy surged forth, coalescing into a magnificent spear made entirely of ice. Gleaming with glacial brilliance, the spear shimmered in the air, its presence commanding attention.

*Whoosh*

With a threatening motion, Selene propelled the icy spear towards the abomination. The spear hurtled through the air with remarkable speed, aimed directly at the creature's twisted form.

In a moment of eerie anticipation, creature stretched out its grotesque hand, seizing the incoming spear in its gnarled grasp. The creature pointed the spear towards its mouth and swallowed without much difficulty.

"What the fuck!" Ash was in disbelief.

Selene was in shock as she didn't expect it. She would be fine if the creature blocked it or was damaged by it but swallowing her Ice Spear, was astonishingly unexpected.

Ray shook his head and said, "This monster needs to fuck off from where it came from!"

Bryan stepped forward and said with a calm tone, "I'll be the bait." he declared, "I'll draw it away towards the portal. You guys wait for my command and use everything you got to push it back into the portal."

Ray and Ash exchanged glances with a wry smile considering they wanted to step forward but Bryan beat them to it. The group nodded in agreement, readying themselves for the task ahead.

Ash and Ray knew that Bryan would be in a perilous position, but they also knew that he was capable of doing it and they trusted him.

"Extra Large Phantasmal Fist!"

*Swoosh*

Bryan jumped into the air as he formed the biggest Phantasmal Fist he had ever formed and punched the creature straight on its head.

*BOOM*

The sound of impact shook the walls as the creature's twisted face shifted its attention towards Bryan.

'Heh, well, at least I got its attention.' Bryan smirked.

*Skkreeeeaaaaakkkkkkk*

The creature initiated the offense and spat out multiple yellow orbs of liquid at the human in front of it. Bryan's instinct kicked into high gear as he swiftly maneuvered his body, narrowly evading the dangerous yellow orbs.

Using this as an opportunity, Bryan made his way to the creature's vulnerable back and delivered an attack.

*BOOM*

In a thunderous explosion of power, another gigantic Phantasmal Fist landed squarely on the creature's back, eliciting a resounding screech of agony. The impact sent tremors though the creature's twisted form, but it slowly turned around its attention now completely fixed on Bryan.

With a calculated maneuver, Bryan positioned himself in a perfect alignment with the blood-red portal.

'Alright, just a few more metres…'

The creature's grotesque hands elongated as it reached out with malicious intent to snatch Bryan in its clutches. Bryan dodged the creature's grasps but he didn't expect the creature to swipe its hands.

*Smack*

In an unexpected move, the elongated hands smacked into Bryan with an unstoppable force and bone-crushing strength. Pain seared through his body as he was sent hurtling through the air, crashing into the wall with a thud.

*Whoosh*

Almost immediately, Bryan jumped away from the wall and landed in front of the creature once again. He knew the battle was far from over and he didn't want to lose the creature's attention on him.

"Ugh…"

His body throbbed with aches and pains, but he would endure the pain, for he knew that their plan was within reach.

"Come on, you bitch!"

Go, Bryan! Go!
