Ep 4: Our death

"how was day good?" Annie's sister came with a jug of coffee.

"they're great..i'm in a great mood this month" Answered Annie, she drink a cup of hot coffee while watching over the rain puddle striked heavily by the raindrops that evening while listening to crime documentaries of Ted Bundy in her wireless earphones,

That night she felt restless that she cannot sleep, she cried for 5 hours talking to walls in her bedroom that was lightened up by lights from outside, mentioning how did she ended up being so pathetic like this? did he make it wrong and what's the cause of it? no one loves me? so that her family thought she was sleeping soundly she often locked herself refused to go out till it's 1 o'clock. Now it's 2 passed 5 in the morning, just as she felt sleepy, by the time she woke up it's already 5 In the morning.

Annie walked slowly towards kitchen, and puzzled to see a smokes in her sights,

"what is this? is it a dream?" Annie scratch her chest, stumbled as she still sleepy from the sleeping pills, she realized the house was on fire when she coughed and widened her eyes,

"what.. OH MY!!" she got shocked and screaming out her siblings name, then she remembers she was alone because they had gone to a birthday party at her uncle's house, she refused to go because she lied of having another job and must wake up early tomorrow though it's Sunday, seriously they won't be home for 3 days,

"my children.."Annie searched for her 6 cats luckily they're were fine because they were in a cage that night, so before she could escaped she put all of them in a box, in case they might die due to suffocation or jump from the box during running scene, Annie seal the box carefully not to tight but not to loose.

When she thought she had no chances to survived, she saw a life buoy, luckily her family had been to a pool lately and her niece's buoys was still there, Annie was devastated as the smoke getting bigger and she was blinded without her glasses one,

she recalled there was one grills that had been unlocked by her mother 2 days ago, Annie ran over there and jumped from a 5th floor with no worries because she knew there will a lake to save her life,

6 seconds she jumped, the house exploded along with a loud bang making her deaf for about 1 minutes, one of the balcony grill from her neighbor stucked between her legs, even so she only kick them back using her feet as her hand were hugging the box with her Cats meowing inside trying to get out, also with the life buoy on her neck she barely breath.

Falling in a slow motion, she saw many families lying down unconsiously unable to escape from the fire so she was lucky, within those time she empathize those people and wished to help, but she's not In he exact moment worrying for others,oddly she cannot see or hear any ruckus or fire drills rioting the fire,

splashed into the water, Annie put the cats on the life buoys and swim away just in case the apartment blew up one more time,

"why can't I turn back in time?" she asked herself did this one got 'expired' as well?

admitted to a river bank with half of her body still soaked in water, she felt relaxed and safe, But a unknowm cold hand suddenly reach her anklet and dragged her deep further into the lake, she swam down to see what it is and kick whoever hand it was,

just as she managed to got out, she had a cramp leg and drawn back with two hands just now,

while looking up, Annie was happy to see her cats were fine, is this how I'm going to die? after many thoughts of suicide? I hope I'll get into a nice place, she gave up compiling water into her lungs while looking at the fire above her,

7 years ago a friend asked her, "what's your life line Annie for school's magazine?" she told Naz that he can read it cause she had write it on the paper,

"wow.. amusing this isn't what you copy right? your thinking is it?" She nodded, and smile

"what's your" the male friend shooked his head still hasn't found a good words.

'be crazy and stupid is better than being smart, as people wouldn't bother you cause you're useless, but no one knew what was in the mind of crazy people so don't be afraid to be stupid' Nazi read it once again and impressed by the words, he told Annie those words had meaning in it and it felt good, because people had tendencies to mock stupid looking individual.

"Naz,will you believe words from crazy people if once they're a scientist? what if they had seen something they isn't supposed to see and turned crazy by a certain people to shut their mouth? less words more thinking In the brain my friend we'll just let it lose once a while" both of them giggles to what Annie said, and she wasn't mad because it's the truth based on her thinking, and her male friend Is the school genius talented in every academic but sometimes asking for her help in a simple matter and subject, lately she was informed that the guy had a problem with his study and she helped whatever she can without mentioning they had the same problems.
