Robbery is an art.

"Honor Among Thieves," they say, when you rob, you must stand up boldly and proclaim to everyone your intention to rob. Only then can it be considered the Way of Robbery.

Stealing without announcement is thievery, and sneak thieves are despised in the martial world. Attacking the vulnerable and unsuspecting is seen as low and despicable.

Though both involve taking chances from others, never underestimate this distinction.

The chances you steal, or "borrow," aren't truly yours. They come with no fate attached, and sooner or later, they must be returned. Goods obtained this way can't even fetch a good price when pawned.

But if, before you make your move, you clearly declare your intent to seize by force, then it simply comes down to a matter of victory or defeat, life or death, right?

Chances seized with your own true skill—what is there to hide? If others lose, they lose only their chance, but if you lose, you lose your life~~
