Chapter 20: The Hidden Plan-Part 2
George got surprised by this. “What have I done to you?” He asked.
“Just leave. I cannot talk now; please leave.” Sue spoke from behind the door, weeping, and then she sank to the floor.
George rooted in his place. He was taken by her words. This was the first time Sue acted like this with him. She never stopped talking to him. She never ignored him. She always waited for him to return, even if he would arrive very late at night. She never slept without a goodnight kiss. He kept standing in front of her door without uttering any words.
The next day in the morning, George knocked on Sue’s door. He could not sleep the whole night, waiting for the morning to speak to his beloved daughter, Sue.
She opened the door to him. George looked at his daughter, who had red skin under her eyes, and her eyes looked exhausted from crying and lack of sleep.
“Why did you raise me?” Sue asked.
“What did Janet do to you? Did she say something?” George asked.
