Sue kept gazing at his eyes; she was trying to read him. She saw a hesitant person, a person who lost faith and confidence. This was the best description of the man who was with her at this moment. The other description was a person who had not enough courage, to tell the truth.
She felt that she had to say something, but she did not want to ask. She did not want to reveal things she might not like. So, she decided to adopt her first theory and accept that Rayan right now was the person who lost confidence.
She suddenly said, “Rayan, if you could not start your business now, you will do it later. You are still young.”
Rayan started laughing.
“What is funny about what I said?” She wondered.
“It is not funny, Sue. It is impossible.” He sighed again and told her, “never mind, I am sorry if I acted weird with you, Sue… “
She raised her eyebrows and interrupted him, “If?”
