Chapter 37

Kevin got shocked at his appearance. He pulled Luna inside of the house and asked him to sit on the sofa. In the inside Kevin screamed but almost silently at Luna for her treatment towards him.

-What the hell, Luna? Why did you shout at him? Do you even know who he is?

Luna nodded her head as no uninterestedly.

-He's one of the mafia kings, Ash.

-But how do you know for sure?

-I know it. Because of our company, we had to know several things as this.

-Oh.

They went in the hall room and sat down on the sofa but Luna kept a distance with Ash and sat closely with Kevin. Ash explained everything to them and waited for their reply.

-But I can't leave my mama like this. Also there's Luca, he'll never understand it. He'll be hurt and I don't want him to experience the same thing as mine. Loneliness is the worst thing for him right now after what he went through.

-Relax, I'm not telling you to make decision now. And if you want then I can also give them the same thing as you. But since you're the main target, you'll need to come with me to my place for a few days until all this is over.

-I told you, I can't leave them. Mama won't be happy and also Luca's just a child. And he sees me like his mom so he won't be able to live without me.

-Then how about it. I place my guards around your house, they'll report me everything. And also I'll visit you guys every day to check if thing's are fine or not. This way you won't have to leave your place and I can do my job.

-I think it's a great deal, Luna. You should take it. I'm sure he means you no harm.

-I guess so. Since you're so determined, I won't stop you from doing it. But you can't interfere in our lives, got it?

-Yes, ma'am.

After the intense discussion, they all loosened up and talked and had snacks. Luna also again and again apologized for her behavior earlier. Kevin introduced all of the family members to him and he greeted them politely and played for a while with Luca. After spending the whole afternoon in her house, he left placing his most reserved guards at her door and told them that he'll come in this hour to take the report. He bid everyone farewell for today and left with his hordes of cars.

Luna and Kevin went inside the house and started cleaning up the place. Since it was too late for to make dinner, they decided to have dinner outside today. Kevin brought his car and Luna got downstairs after getting Olivia and Luca ready. After a few hours they came back and everyone went inside their rooms and got to fast asleep.

But somehow Luna couldn't sleep after what happened today. She never imagined that the mafia king will help her out. She always thought that she was unlucky and brought enough pain to Olivia but toady's incident made her confident that she is unlucky that there's still some person who cares for them. She fell asleep while thinking all these.
