After hours of non-stop running, damon now felt his legs starting to get tired but he was amazed of how long he ran, only now he started feel tired. but he was almost at his destination, after a few minutes, on a straight road, damon started to see houses another after another, far ahead more than a 100 meters is a bridge, across the bridge was a humongous wall a height of a little more than 30 meters tall. Damon started to slow down bit by bit.

Damon's evil laugh was heard from many people that woke up from there sleep they took a peek and saw a boy covered with blood all over his clothes from they're point of view they saw a crazy looking boy thinking that he might really have killed someone...

The guards from the walls also heard and noticed the bloodied boy and hurriedly go towards him holding a spear pointing towards the boy and said:

"Hey brat are you crazy?!! why are you laughing at the middle of the night you might get arres--... Well you will need to come with us let's have a talk after were inside the interrogation room for questioning."

"Okay!" Damon then cries , acting for a logical reasons later.

"Follow me.."

After a few moments they started to question damon's presence and background history, damon then told them about his personal information and the things he experienced except for the four legged raptor part twisted some parts of the event. then he told them of how he came here logically.

"I was so happy that i got away and came here

i really felt in my heart that i wanted to laugh and then cry." Damon's acting was excellent even the high ranking official outside the room felt bad for the kid. The guards and the high ranking official made the decision and said:

"Sigh, okay i believe you. So have you considered of going back to the orphanage?"

"No" Damon replied.

"Why?"

"I already knew the orphanage didn't care for me thinking how they treated me from the past and I'm sure they didn't have the trouble to look for me." It was true, Lian's(the former owner of this body) memories, his so-called 'parents' treated him like a slave it was almost the same treatment of that bandit.

"I should find a job in the city, hope they'll hire me this isn't bad compared to what I've been through" Damon smiles warmly towards the guards. Damon finally waited for this moment to ask questions and said:

"By the way, when i was at the bandit cave i was wondering, i heard a the bandit he called himself a rank 8 mortal cultivator, what does he mean by that?"

Damon was filled with rage after hearing that "Kid my ass!!!" he thought. But he didn't really bothered any further and just leaves without saying a word although he was allowed to go inside however the other guard advised him not to go looking like that, damon's also agrees with his advise he as well realized that he slowly started to smell bad, it smelled like a mix of sweat and dried blood. He never really got time to think of inspecting the status of a guard he really wanted to sleep, it really affected his mental health. It's clear that he needs to find some shelter after taking some shower.

Noon arrived, near the road a young boy with a long black hair was lying up in a tree sleeping soundly, It was damon who is now clean and wore a new set of clothes, he stole it from a house outside the walls far from him a beam of light directed to his eyes made him woke up by falling from the tree, but after the fall what felt was just a slight pain. Damon slowly stands.

Damon saw people walking and ancient carriages going towards the city. Looking at the direction of the walls the place was crowded with people wearing ancient clothes.

"I didn't expect there's so many people roaming around the city, hehe this should be perfect for gathering information."

Damon then quickly goes to the place. A month have passed, damon gained so many information in this place, survived by using the methods to steal, the conceal skill sure is useful.The city is called chang ji city after the first owner of this land. He also gained information about this magical world.

There exist an unique supernatural energy surrounding the lands called 'Qi Vigor'.

Veteran Realm are those who are now profound to able to control qi vigor at will by manifesting it within their body.

Elite Realm is quite similar except for their great strength and past experience for they have gained enlightenment.

wind, fire, nature, metal, lightning, dark and light depending on what their good at.

Every living being have been blessed with their own Elemental Affinities. Having Elemental Affinities helps the individual to

be proficient with those elements.

Choosing the elements that doesn't match based on it's Elemental Affinities could be a judged as useless.

Settling on an element that isn't suitable for it's elemental affinities is certainly limits to the peak of the outcome of your growth and mostly be at the realm of the elite stage at best even your diligent dedication could be vague due to insufficient amount of life spans.
