The Great Flaming Phoenix II

As the giant red phoenix continued to stare at Freya, the mage made the first move. She already had used more than half her mana reserves, due to the numerous spells she cast, and several activations of Troll Skin.

Luckily, she still had enough mana to end this match. The raven haired adventurer raised her hand forward, and once more cast the fire spell, “Judgment Flair!”

The stream of white fire erupted once more from the mage. This time headed towards the red fire phoenix in the center of the arena. The conical flames rushed towards the firebird, piercing through the air.

The spell hit the spirit phoenix in its chest and managed to envelop almost half of it. However, the beast was too large to be completely covered by the spell. The fire fell lasted almost half a minute, before it vanished a moment later, with almost no damage to the firebird.
