The Syrinxes & The Queen Bee

A lonely girl was deceived into being captured by a race of powerful winged mages to give birth to their kids. The hated fate of their Queen Bee was complicated by the appearance of other more powerful magicians who flew to their colony from another planet. Intro  Welcome to the universe of syrinxes - winged vampires, a multi-gender community. For two thousand years, powerful magicians have been in an endless war with the flesh-eaters Zirux, who outnumber them, so they recruited mortal people to help, colonizing 22 planets and forcing women to give birth to half-breed offspring for the needs of the war. The story begins with the first book, The Syrinxes of Zaria. The action takes place on an abandoned colony seven years away by space ship from the main stronghold of the planet Xantari, ruled by five ancient Archons.

Renamed Farenia, Lasha very quickly got used to life in the palace. She and her brother were given the rooms with beautiful furnishings and a wardrobe, and she was overjoyed when a venue was announced in her honor.

"I'm surprised at you," Selestra told her after meeting. "You're not afraid that so many men will demand my attention."

"Hah, I'm already used to it! I had many admirers in the village because of my unearthly half-breed appearance, but I decided not to marry and wait for the winged ones."

"Interesting! You are so confident girl! Have you been told that every year you need to choose a new partner in order to give birth to a child?"

"What?"

"I see, they didn't say..." Selestra smiled sweetly.

"Well, okay... whatever... I don't mind. Then can I choose the guy with purple hair?"

"Lariel? Why him?" Selestra frowned.

"He's so cute, he smiles when I meet him... I'd kiss him!"

"Better pay attention to the stellar officers. These are powerful magicians who will give you magical forces."

"Is it true? But the Queen, on the contrary, did not advise this," Farenia arched her eyebrows. "You know, I dream of a military man in a white uniform, as handsome as God! His eyes are like ice, but he stirs my heart to the core. He promised to marry me. His name is Lantas! How to meet him?"

Many magic lanterns hanging in the air along the paths decorated the blooming evening garden filled with aromas, where two hundred young syrinxes were eagerly awaiting the princess.

Kamily decided that she would accompany Farenia during the acquaintance, just in case and to avoid the spell of ardent admirers.

The princess dressed up in a silver dress and gathered her thick hair into a voluminous hairstyle, decorating it with hairpins made of white crystals and looked brilliant. When the royals left the palace and walked along the paths past the guys, there were massive exclamations of delight and applause. It seems that no one expected that the girl would be so pretty, and that she would also be a brunette, which was very much appreciated among blonds.

Farenia walked and looked at the guys without any embarrassment and smiled at everyone, as if all this was familiar to her. She sat down on the bench and began to eagerly introduce herself to each person in turn.

The princess was clearly very picky about choosing a suitor, because she asked each guy questions: what he does, what his abilities are. Surprised by her practicality, Kamily realized that the princess was just having fun and would not make a choice today.

After the reception, the Queen sympathetically asked Farenia:

"Well, did anyone get into your soul?"

"It's very difficult to choose," the princess looked puzzled. "They are all beautiful and gallant. I would settle on Imarinis, who is very similar to Lariel, but I always dream about one guy with white wings - a blue-eyed blond named Lantas..."

"I know him," Kamily said. "I don't think he's right for you..."

"Why?"

"A spoiled ladies' man who will quickly get fed up with you. He will play and quit..."

"O-oh, Queen! But I already fell in love with him!"

"You'd better choose Imarinis, since you liked him," Kamily muttered disapprovingly. "He's cute..."

But the princess did not listen to her advice.

The next day Palien showed up with this officer.

"My soul, why weren't we invited to the ball!" The Ruler playfully addressed the Queen.

Lantas, dressed as if on a date, looked around, examining the decoration of the palace.

"Who told you about this?" Kamily was shocked by their knowledge.

"Weird question! Clairvoyants don't need to say anything, don't you know that?" The Commander grinned.

"The princess didn't choose anyone yesterday," Lantas said with a charming smile.

"I really want to meet her."

"Don't look at me like that, my love," Palien tried to justify himself, falling under the Queen's destroying gaze. "She's so good, and I couldn't stop him."

Everyone turned around at the sound of footsteps at the end of the enfilade - Farenia was confidently approaching them in a flowing cornflower- blue dress.

"Here comes the princess!" Palien drawled admiringly and introduced himself and the officer to her.

She nodded her head, not hiding her joy that she was getting acquainted with the stellar syrinxes. The dazzling sight of the young white-winged officer, dressed in a white long-skirted jacket with blue stripes, struck her to the very heart.

"Enchanted, princess!" Lantas looked into her eyes with fascination, inviting her to take a walk in the garden.

"I dreamed of you!" The girl exclaimed enthusiastically.

"My tricks!" Admitted the crafty officer. "So that you get used to me in advance..."

Palien looked warily at Kamily, who angrily watched the departing couple.

"Don't be upset, dear. There is no need to interfere with love. You can see how much she liked Lantas."

"You always do this," Kamily said indignantly. "You come to any colony, take whatever you like, the princesses are defenseless against your charms. Play with them and fly on. You are very spoiled by your power and permissiveness."

"We belong to the elite of Xantari, they call us Warriors of Love. Lantas is a purebred aristocrat, the son of the eternal Lord Lamronius and Queen Bee Ellamyria, and we have the right to leave offspring on all planets according to the Code of Thrive. Our children become outstanding individuals and leaders capable of great things."

He placed his hands on the Queen's belly.

"Our fiery love called these souls from spiritual heights. They are the future Rulers of the Stronghold of our civilization."

"Will you take them with you?"

"Certainly. I can't stay on Zaria for long. I will raise them to be devoted to the ideals of Xantari, true patriots. They will increase our power. We will return in fifteen years, just when your wings grow, and we will all fly over Azaren together."

"Will I grow wings?" Kamily asked incredulously. "Are you kidding?"

"You feel pain here, right?" He ran his hand down the middle of her back. "They have already begun to grow.

"How is this possible?" Kamily couldn't believe it.

"You and I were in a fiery world, and there everything is possible - any desire. You are a magical creature and you don't know it. The wings are a gift from me."

"Have you made a wish every time? And what was the third?"

"The ability to see the future and see its variations. This will greatly help me in my deads," admitted Palien.

Kamily sank to the floor and cried:

"Everyone takes advantage of me, what an unbearable life this is! When will this end? I'm so tired of all of you, I want to be free, love whoever I want, give birth when I want. Everyone is pushing me around..."

Palien stared at her in confusion, not expecting such a reaction. He never consoled women and always walked away from their tears, leaving them to cry alone. But he could not leave her, she carried his precious children under her heart and could lay hands on herself, as in a past life, and make him suffer again."

"I'm not using you," Palien began to justify himself. "I love you and always have loved you. I dreamed of having kids with you. You're so hard to please."

"I don't want to see you anymore," Kamily hissed indignantly and, getting up, walked away.
