Noah’s POV:

/"Don’t blame yourself. Now you are safe. We are going back soon,/" I kept both of my hands on her shoulder and consulted her. She tried not to cry for a second. Then, there’s a fierce look on her face.

/"Fine. How did you meet the Queen? You didn’t reveal that part./" she expected for my answer. But I couldn’t say that. There’s always be a consequence when we are dealing with someone powerful. The Queen helped us get back to Slateville. But only under one condition. I can’t say that to Sydney. I lost something so important just to save Sydney.

/"I... I met her a day ago. Amelia and I reached the castle the minute we got outside of the portal. It took us more time to convince her to help us. I am glad it’s over./" I gave a simple explanation that won’t reveal what I have done.
