Chapter 3-Entrance
Many prominent figures arrived one by one, and many of them were well-known in the world.
Some were from famous clans and empires, while others were solo cultivators without support from any organization.
Some saw their enemies and rivals there, but they didn't dare to fight or show their anger because they didn't want to ruin the mood.
Everyone knew that the strength of the Starlight Clan could not be underestimated, and no one knew how strong they were.
Many of them didn't care about Dwight himself; some attended just to gain favors from the Starlight Clan.
A favor from the Starlight Clan could greatly increase their status, so no one wanted to miss this opportunity, even though they were busy with their matters.
While some were there for favors, many beautiful ladies and young women from various families were looking everywhere to find Dwight.
Some of these ladies were geniuses from different families, while others were noblewomen from other kingdoms and empires.
Their purpose was to see him and have a chance to talk to him.
He was the dream guy of many young females, which made many boys envy him.
All they could do was envy him because they couldn't afford to offend him.
Almost everyone knew that Dwight was the favorite child of the Starlight Clan Leader since he was the youngest.
Naturally, the youngest child is usually the most loved in the family.
Even though he was lazy, his parents wouldn't let anything bad happen to him.
....
As everyone was talking, they suddenly heard the voice of the Starlight Clan's butler.
"The young master is here!"
Everyone looked at the entrance and saw a handsome young man who stood 5'8" tall.
His long black hair shone, and his charming eyes made people feel like their souls were being drawn in.
He wore fancy red clothes, and every step he took left everyone in a daze.
Next to him was a beautiful woman in a gorgeous blue dress, holding onto his arm as they walked together.
Of course, it was Tessa, and he had convinced her to come with him to the party.
He picked out the dress for her, and it fit her perfectly.
Tessa was shy, but she decided to come because she couldn't reject his request and didn't want to disappoint him.
Many boys looked at Dwight and felt inferior.
He was so handsome that they couldn't help but look away to avoid feeling intimidated.
On the other hand, the girls were excited, their eyes shining as they finally saw him up close.
Some of them had never seen him in person because their friends only shared pictures of him.
Dwight's picture circulated among young females like a virus.
They looked at Tessa with envy and hatred for being so close to him.
They wished they were in Tessa's position and in the spotlight.
Dwight ignored them all as he walked toward his father and Uncle Lucas.
He greeted them, saying, "Nice to see you, Uncle Lucas. Where is your gift for me?"
Lucas smiled. He was used to Dwight's behavior and admired how Dwight expressed his inner thoughts without holding back.
"Don't worry; you're my nephew, so it wouldn't be good if I didn't bring you a nice gift," he said as he handed Dwight a ring.
"This space ring is not an ordinary space ring; the space inside it can fit a huge mansion. I got this when I was a kid, so take care of it."
Dwight smiled and thanked him.
"Thanks, Uncle."
He didn't need it since he had his own space inside his body, but this ring could help him disguise himself as a mortal.
He needed to store some things, so this ring was convenient since his powers were sealed.
He could unlock any percentage of his power, but he was sure that even 0.001 percent of his power could destroy the whole planet.
Dwight also greeted his father, David, who patted his shoulder and then led him onto the stage.
He looked at the crowd and said,
"Thank you for coming to my youngest son's birthday. I appreciate your presence, so let's enjoy the feast."
After that, he clapped his hands, and many maids appeared, bringing out a variety of dishes and wines.
All of the food was expensive, something you could only dream of tasting if you were a noble or a rich person.
They expected this, as the Starlight family wasn't just powerful in terms of strength but also richer than other empires.
Everyone was happy to be there, as they could boast to their friends about it later.
David called Dwight to say something to the crowd.
Dwight smiled, looked at the crowd, and said, "Thanks for coming."
Everyone was speechless, and even David was surprised that Dwight's speech was so short.
Everyone felt awkward until a shout from a girl broke the silence:
"Young Master Dwight is so cool!"
Many recognized her as the daughter of a prominent clan and didn't expect her to shout like a fan girl.
After she said that, many other girls started to shout.
"Young Master, I love you!"
"Master Dwight, I want your autograph!"
"My love, please notice me! I can give birth to a monkey for you!"
Many women screamed, and all the guests were astonished, not expecting Dwight to be so popular.
They had assumed he wasn't well-known because he was always lazing around, and his power was perceived as low.
Many boys felt despair as they saw their crushes shouting for Dwight's attention, envying him deeply.
Dwight, on the other hand, just smiled.
He knew that many of them had ulterior motives and were likely charmed only by his looks.
His current appearance was only 1 percent of his original look, but it was enough for him to be considered the most handsome man on this planet.
He remembered how, in his previous life, many holy daughters and queens from various galaxies and races had tried to abduct him because of his extraordinary handsomeness.
When he became a god, he became even more attractive, but he couldn't get close to anyone.
He knew many people would want to be in his position, but he never liked living a life where he could only observe as if he didn't exist.
His goal in this life was to find genuine companions, not women who were only interested in his status and looks.
He knew the true nature and attitudes of every creature.
Some would show love but eventually betray you.
He had been betrayed many times by friends and those he considered family.
When given the chance, they would forget the reasons they had come together, all for the sake of gaining power.
Sometimes, he even thought about eradicating all life in the universe and creating his own.
He had experienced many hardships and learned a great deal, which had slowly shaped his character and made him adept at reading people.
Even without using his powers, he could discern who had bad motives and who genuinely wanted to celebrate his birthday.
Tired of their fake expressions, he didn't care about their thoughts regarding his short speech.
To him, they were just ants in front of his immense power.
