Lin Jiayu's Story

Lin Jiayu stared straight at Yu Gangan. Her cold and stiff face remained emotionless, but her hands clasped together so tightly that her fingers turned red.

Only after a short moment did she respond with doubt, "A-Are you sure?"

Yu Gangan nodded, "You appear to be one month pregnant."

If Yu Gangan remembered correctly, Jiayu had already broken up with her boyfriend half a year ago.

If that was the case, whose child was this?

Lin Jiayu almost blacked out as she flopped to the side.

Yu Gangan immediately supported her and asked, "Jiayu, are you OK?"

Lin Jiayu was not OK. She was definitely not OK. Lin Jiayu stretched out her arms and wrapped them around her own shoulders.

Yu Gangan looked at the woman's pale complexion and hugged her comfortingly without a word.

"Didn't you ask me why I was unwilling to smile?" Lin Jiayu's lips twitched a little but they remained stiff, unable to pull off a smile.
