I'm from Imo state Nigeria, I'm diamond by name this is my story.

I just gained admission into the top public universities in Nigeria (Uniport) University of Port Harcourt, I just had a thing for port harcourt! You could call it love.

My dad insisted I went to Harvard like my elder brother did but as the last child and daddy's girl, I had my way, to study nursing my dream course because I have always wanted to to take care of the sick and elderly.

As I did for my grandmum, who passed on when I was writing (WAEC) Western African Examination Council, may your soul rest in peace grandmum.

It's Saturday or as I loved to call it shopping day, but this Saturday was different because I'm shopping for uni'

I went with my mum to the mall to be goodie and household things! For me.

Because I love my privacy and I don't like people touching my stuff without my permission, so I stayed off campus with my cousin; Amaka for security reasons said my mum.

And Amaka was a Christian sister that's not the kind of vibe, I needed in school but that's not my business because she can't tell me what to do with my life.

My sweet sixteen birthday celebration was next month a week after we resumed, school so my mum said I should stay behind.

Which I did who doesn't love party? So we invited my secondary school mates close friends and relatives, we all had fun towards the closure of my birthday party.

My boyfriend the governor's son broke up with me, because he was going to attend a school in London and it would be a long distance shit, which he wasn't good with.

His not even that cute, according to my mum the rich must marry the rich sounds harsh right? You will understand why she said so, that's why I dated his ugly ass.

D-Day I have been waiting for arrived I parked my bags over and over again that night, with a joyous expression then my mum walked in and said you are happy right? With a smile on my face I said Yes.

Motherly advise started, " You know why you went there focus on it, and come out with good grades, you know mummy loves don't be afraid to tell me anything.

And make us proud baby girl; for sure I will I promise to make you proud mum, you gave birth to a smart girl I started hyping myself we laughed and exchanged good night, sweet dreams.

Our driver Mr David drove me to school, I was glad to see Amaka because she cooked I can cook oh ! My mum is a yoruba woman, but I'm just too lazy to cook.

I attend classes that week, freshers party was coming up and Amaka was not someone to tag along with, but I needed a plus one.

I love parties but can't go alone, so my coursemate's asked me if I would be her plus one, to FMP 'freshman's magic party" I said yes with out looking back of course I would Jessica.

I stay in the hostel and after the after party I don't know where to sleep, Jessica was lamenting so I offered to let her have the night at my place.

She accepted, I wore a tight black jumpsuit which made my ass visible, because my ass was big I'm a igbo girl for a reason, so I noticed this cute boy staring at me continuously at the party.

I walked up to him, why the hell are you staring at me ? So...rry you are.... a bea... beautiful girl he was a stammer but that didn't even matter because his cuteness covered his weakness.

We danced for some while and exchanged contact, I'm so.....rry a...again for staring at... you I'm an....Andrew are you a fresher too I said yes and went back to Jessica.

We danced all night, we went home after three in the morning and slept like a pile of wood, it was a Saturday so no classes but we had tutorials in the evening.

Jessica, I and Amaka attended, Amaka is studying pharmacy, Jessica saw Andrew and touched me look at your new friend I smiled.

Amaka started perishing, we came to school to get a degree not men bla bla bla me and Jessica left her and went into the hall to attend, the physic class.

Andrew wasn't just cute but intelligent too, he answered must of the questions that was asked even with his stammering.

I crushed on him, more because he wasn't ashamed of his condition but his sef confidence was on another level we went home, Jessica my vibe partner went to her hostel.

I was left with my chef aka Hilda baci hyping her so she would cook, Amaka the only way I would cook was if you followed me, to church.

I said yes, after eating I saw a message from Andrew Hi !!! Beautiful so you are a science student? What department? I replied immediately, Yes oh! Nursing what about you? Electronic Engineering he pushed the convo.

By asking me, where I'm from, siblings? I'm from imo state, I have a elder brother, I'm the last born of my parents daddy's girl no boy would mess with me "laughing emoji".

Andrew said his from delta state, urhobo first child trained to take care of last borns "laughing emoji' I was curious to know, so I asked you are this brilliant why engineering? He said that he applied for medicine and surgery.

But got engineering instead, if money comes I would apply for a transfer, igbo girl meaning your bride prize will be much oh "laughing emoji.

I said to get someone like me, you need to work really hard lol, we chatting for awhile, and I slept thinking about him.
