REN QIAN

Ren Qian could feel himself floating, but as for where he didn't. He was awoken with a start and he could see himself in an extremely dark place.

"What is this place. I remember I was…..urrgh..my head hurts", he tried recollecting his memories but all he got was a splitting headache.

Therefore, he came to one conclusion; his memory had been erased. But that was the problem. He didn't even know who he was, neither where he was or where he came from. Where was he to start?

All of a sudden, he saw the flash of light fly past him. An urge rose within him to follow the light, though ominously red, so he did.

And in the end, he ended up being purged out of the dark place. However, when he found himself staring at a woman with a pale face and sweaty face, he was scared out of his wits. The woman had patches all over her "body" from Ren Qian's perspective.

Unfortunately, what he didn't know now was he existed as a soul and he could only see souls and not bodies.

He then turned left and he found an extremely giant person with blood red gaze staring down at him. This 'person' was the soul of the Vampire King. But of course, Ren Qian didn't know that. His first thought was:

"Demon?"

He looked at the person next to the 'giant'. She had a beautiful green armor that indeed caught Ren Qian's eye. They seem to warp ever so slightly, giving it an ethereal vibe.

However, before he could even speak, a mysterious force pulled him back to the dark place. However, this time, he found a baby floating at a certain part of the dark place.

The baby suddenly opened its eyes and they were completely black. The entire eye gave off an eerie vibe.

"Join me and let's reside in this host forever", he heard and a tremble struck his heart in fear with each word.

However, it seemed to have all been an illusion as all he could see was a cute happy baby with slightly longer canines.

"Wait. Blood-red eyes and Long canines? These are bloody bloodsuckers."

It had finally dawned on him, they were vampires.

He so badly wanted to see the outside world. Since he had finally found out the people around him were vampires.

There was another thing he noticed. He could see and touch the flesh and bone of this baby but he couldn't feel flesh and bones. Neither could he 'touch'. His second conclusion was that he had become a spirit.

"If this is my spirit, does that mean my body is somewhere in the universe?", Ren Qian's mouth twitched as he thought.

"For now, I need to find more clues about this place. In order to return to my body, I must be patient."

Thankfully, he was not stupid.

He knew exactly when to act and when not to.

"Let's merge our souls", Ren Qian 'said' (they communicate through their minds), hoping to speak to the eerie soul.

"It seems you are not so stupid after all."

"You will not merge with my soul but his. He is weak so strengthen his soul by merging with him"

The eerie creature whispered very close to his ear, hoping to draw the same fearful response but all he got was a calm gaze.

Ren Qian's memories might have been erased but definitely not his disposition. He was able to stay calm no matter what or where he found himself.
