Progression

The 1v1 fights continued normally and for Itsu it was quite boring, for him everyone moved so slow and all their attacks had too many flaws to count, after a while it was the finale battle Naruto vs Itsu. Naruto got into a fighting stance while Itsu just stood there with no stance and his eyes closed.

Naruto launched himself at Itsu trying to land a hit but Itsu just calmly evaded all the attacks sent his way, it took a while for people to notice that the entire time Itsu hadn't moved from the spot that he started, after a while Itsu got bored, Naruto was good compared to all the other children his age, but to Itsu who was at kage level when it came to taijutsu he was nothing.

Naruto wasn't getting angry that Itsu wasn't attacking and only dogging, Naruto knew more than most how good Itsu was when it came to combat and he knew that compared to Itsu he was not skilled enough to force Itsu to actually try, Itsu got bored of dodging so when Naruto sent a kick towards to face Itsu didn't evade, he just grabbed his foot and threw him out of the circle, he was out of bounds so that made him the winner.

Everyone had wide eyes from this display, everyone saw how easily Naruto and Itsu beat their opponents so they believed that they would be a match for each other and it would be a close fight. But after seeing that they realised how wrong they were. After that they went back to class and had normal lessons for the rest of the day, but people were paying close attention to Naruto and Itsu since they were now the unspoken stars of the class.

Some girls even started to blush when they looked at Naruto which caught Itsu by slightly off guard but he just shrugged it off. After school Itsu and Naruto were about to leave when they were stopped by Ino and Sakura, because of Itsu's influence Naruto didn't develop a crush on Sakura so he just looked at her with an indifferent expression, but what happened next greatly caught Itsu off guard, Sakura walked up to Naruto and spoke. "Naruto-kun you were so cool, do you think that maybe sometime you could teach me some of your moves?"

Itsu has to take a second to make sure he heard that properly, Naruto was supposed to crush on Sakura but somehow it seems to have turned the other way around, but Itsu didn't really care, he always preferred Ino to Sakura, they were both equally useless but her attitude and behaviour was better than Sakura's who just treated Naruto as if he was trash and non-existent and kissed Saskue's ass way too hard.

To make Sakura have a crush on the person she ignored and basically hated for years in the original Naruto, this must be some sort of cosmic justice, "Itsu-Kun you're so cool" Ino said while looking at Itsu's eyes with a slight blush. Naruto just shrugged and answered Sakura saying that he didn't mind showing her some moves, "Thank you for the compliment, your did pretty well too Ino" Itsu and Naruto spent a few minutes talking to both of the girls before leaving. "Congratulations Naruto It seems that you have gained a fan, she seems to like you" Naruto looked at Itsu slightly confused "What do you mean, she said that she wanted me to teach her some moves, she probably just wants to be stronger"

Itsu looked at Naruto with disbelief in his eyes "It seems you are doomed to be stupid in this life and the next, after all I've taught you your still so stupid. " Itsu said with a large sigh. "Hey who you calling stupid?!" Itsu just continued to walk without answering any of Naruto's questions. After arriving home Itsu laid down on his bed and looked at the ceiling, he had a huge smile on his face, he was happy for the first time in his life he had friends, he knew what it felt like to have a girl like him and he had a family.

All of that alone was enough to make him happy but on top of that he had power and potential. This was the happiest he has ever been, he takes a deep breath in and decides that its time to get working again. He starts thinking about how he could get stronger he already knows his biggest weakness is his physical capabilities as he is still a child, he still has time to grow but it wouldn't hurt to have a jutsu to make himself faster and stronger and that's when it clicked, the raikage's famous lightning armour.

It's the perfect justu for Itsu, it grants speed, defence and offence. After realising what he needs to do Itsu teleported to the forest out side the village, he started circulating lightning chakra around his body, he continued to increase the intensity from the lightning until it started to envelop his body, the lightning danced around Itsu's body and he felt powerful.

His lightning armour was still inferior to the raikage's because the intensity of the lightning was lower, but with a bit of practice Itsu knew he could master it or maybe even improve it, Itsu started testing it out by first seeing how fast he could move, he started running but he moved too fast and crashed into multiple trees knocking them over, he realised that he was moving faster than his eyes could see but the solution to that was simple, he activated his sharingan and tried again.

This time Itsu could clearly see while he was running he ran weaving his body between the trees in the forest at speeds that to the untrained eye it may look as if he was teleporting, he was happy with his speed so now it was time to test the offensive capabilities, he looked down and put a large amount of force behind his fist, as soon as he punched the ground cracks started to appear, Itsu underestimated his strength as after the dust cleared their was a crater where he punched.

Itsu was very surprised, but not just with his strength but also with the protection the armour gave him, he looked at his fist and it didn't even hurt or feel sore from having to punch the ground.

Itsu was now 7 and so was Naruto, both of them had been doing extremely well in the academy, Itsu got perfect marks in every class and every physical examination, Naruto on the other hand was also doing pretty well on his tests, Sakura volunteered herself to be his private tutor and when it came to physical exams Naruto was only second to Itsu , Naruto still didn't catch on to the fact that Sakura has a crush on him but Itsu didn't care, it wasn't his problem and he sure sooner or later Sakura would confess so it's not really a problem.

Over the years the village had started seeing Naruto in a slightly better light, he didn't play pranks any more and he did very well in the academy, he became less hot headed and more calm and logical, he didn't really have any loud outburst anymore. This caused some villagers to stop telling their kids to not associate with Naruto they were still cautious of him but didn't stop their children from being friends with him, Itsu spent a great amount of time with Hinata and Ino, he had noticed that both of them usually compete between themselves whenever it came to something related to him.

He had also noticed that when Hinata dosen't think that Itsu is around she becomes more confident and she even argues with Ino, around Itsu she adopted a shy and submissive personality but when he isn't around she isn't shy and she speaks up for herself, probably because of how much Itsu encouraged her to be more confident. Itsu was walking to meet Hinata and Ino and he heard them arguing so he hid himself to see what they were talking about.

"Itsu patted my head when he saw how well I've improved my gentle fist so clearly he likes me more" Hinata said while staring at Ino, "Are you crazy?!, He took me out for some ramen after he saw how well I was progressing with my accuracy when throwing kunai" Ino said while raising her voice at Hinata, "He probably took you out and gave you ramen because of how awful you are at it and he didn't want to hurt your feelings, Itsu is a nice person he would rather praise you than tell you that you're doing it wrong"

Itsu smiled, what guy doesn't like 2 beautiful girls fighting over him?, even though they are still children Itsu knew just how good those 2 will look in the future and greatly looked forward to it.
