Future Hao Ran

Hao Ran cupped his hands and bowed towards the direction Yu Sheng's voice came from. Although he knew that Yu Sheng could not see nor hear him, he did it as a form of respect.

Yu Sheng was satisfied with future Hao Ran's attainments. He did not want to take a better look as he would unnecessarily inflict karma on himself. He could do it if he wanted to, but it'll be much more fun to find it out himself.

Hao Ran and Bing Ji had gotten even closer. After the incident that happened to Bing Ji, Hao Ran used his new memories to comfort her. He would not even consider comforting her as he thought that was looking down on her.

He was right, Bing Ji was not affected by Guo Wang's actions. However, she was deeply touched by the care and concern that Hao Ran gave her when they met again. They stood nervously in front of the First Ancestor's residence. They did not dare barge in straight. Hao Ran was nervous but he did not show it on his face. Bing Ji could not hide her nervousness and grabbed onto Hao Ran's arm.

Hao Ran did not brush her nervousness away. He grabbed onto her tightly and comforted her. "Don't worry, I'm nervous too. But our ancestors will not harm us. In fact, they called us here to reward us with something."

Hao Ran's touch had calmed her nerves. She nodded meekly.

The door to the first ancestor's residence opened.
