No Reason

Huo Tianyu's latest single release was titled "No Reason."

The two girls put on earpieces to listen to the song as they headed home.

The song began with an intro sound before a woman started singing.

"Is it a feature?" asked Jiang Tang.

"Yes, it is. My son did a feature with Effie," replied Cuo Zhitao.

"Oh, I didn't know. Okay, play it from the beginning again," Jiang Tang said.

As Cuo Zhitao restarted the song from the beginning, they continued on their journey.

As the female voice began singing, both friends kept quiet to listen to the song. Four minutes later, the song ended. Immediately after, they started gushing over the song.

"Wow, as expected of my son!! His talent makes everyone jealous of him!!! What a good son! See this song, so nice!" Cuo Zhitao said.

"Yeah, that's my hubby. Of course, it is good. But who hurt my brother when my brother wrote this kind of song?" sighed Jiang Tang. "It must be one of those women in the industry. Can't they just leave my husband alone!!" she continued.

As all fans know, 90% of Hip Tianyu's songs are composed and written by himself. According to an interview he did before, he mentioned that he composes and gets inspiration from things that happen to him or occur around him. He said inspiration comes from things around you, it might be the sound of water dripping from a tap or the real life story that happened to a person or a folktale or even a legend story. The funniest is a baby's babble which might be seen as nonsense but when he sits, it can turn into a melody for him. Sometimes, it's just a word, phrase or sentence and the whole lot of sense he will be able to derive from it, is insurmountable. He also said that the reason why a word, phrase or sentence can bring inspiration is because words are connected.

In that particular interview, Huo Tianyu said "The reason why a word, phrase or sentence can be the base inspiration for a song, an EP, or even a whole album is because words are connected and related. Once you hear a word, it must have a meaning, and the meaning is always written in another word and the words used to write the meaning can be used in a different context, and still give us what we are pursuing. That is what music is. To hear the line of a song and you can relate that one line to your entire life, then pushes out your emotions. It's because words are the most powerful and the sounds that accompany it to make a music are gotten at different stages of emotion in life. That's why they can have an impact."

"It's definitely not my son, he might have seen it somewhere, that's why he wrote about it." Zhitao retorted with a snort.

"Either it is him or not. All in all, it sounds best. It has been released since this morning, right?" JIang Tang asked. Zhitao nodded in response. "What's the ranking? Have you checked it/ my husband is planning to go international with this song, has there been any report? Oh! What a school. They are the main reason I forgot my phone this morning!" Jiang Tang mumbled.

"That's you. To support my son, i, his mother…, dang dang dang! I brought it." Cuo Zhitao said as she brought out her mobile phone from her bag.

"How did you manage it? There was a search in school today?" Jiang Tang asked in surprise.

"That senior in the disciplinary committee helped me." Zhitao responded.

"That one chasing you?" Jiang Tang squealed.

"Of course." Cuo Zhitao said proudly. " And you, you are always behaving like a good student, of course they are scared to talk to you, that's why they come to me. Tang Tang, listen to me, you should talk more, smile more and you will see your desk full to the brim day by day." Zhitao advised.

"No, thank you. I just want to get into a good university." Jiang Tang said.

"Am I not doing well in my studies too? You just need to smile more and not keep a straight face all the time and you …" Zhitao was talking when Jiang Tang interrupted her.

"Ok! Ok! Ok! I've heard you. Check the news for me. And if we continue to walk at this pace, I doubt if we can get home." Jiang Tang said 

"You know I'm saying this for your sake. Even if those stupid girls are jealous of your beauty and keep saying all kinds of nonsense and rumors, you should not mind them nor should you lose your smile because of them! They are not worth it. You should smile and play and be…" Cuo Zhitao continued saying when she was interrupted yet again by Jiang Tang.

"Taozi…, I know you are saying it for me. I'm very grateful to Fairy Taozi, but the most important thing right now is my husband, your son, Huo Tianyu's news. Let's check that first. You know we can talk about this later. In everything, Huo Tianyu comes first, every other thing comes only after. Ok? '' Jiang Tang said.

"I know, you don't have to remind me. Just know I'm saying this because of you. Don't interrupt me yet, I know you don't want to hear my nagging. Let's check the news." Zhitao replied. 

Turning on her cellphone, both of them moved aside to huddled together to watch the news. As they were waiting for Weibo to load, Jiang Tang was busy stamping her feet impatiently, Cuo Zhitao was busy biting her fingers anxiously.

"It's loaded! It's loaded!" Cuo Zhitao shouted excitedly.

"Let me see!" Jiang Tang said anxiously.

With both of them huddled together, the first weibo headline with hot on it was;

"Heavenly King Huo Tianyu conquers foreign countries, including the western ones with his single release in just 7 hours." 

It then went on to talk about how Huo Tianyu's "No Reason" started trending on Tik Tok, an hour after it was released internationally, with many people using places of attraction in China as the song's edits. It also mentioned how he has promoted Chinese culture, tourism and language with just one song.

The two girls went crazy with happiness as they knew the impact of this on their idol. That means at the young age of 24, their idols have achieved what his age group and seniors could not do, solidifying his position as No.1 in the Chinese music industry.

As they were celebrating, Jiang Tang suddenly stopped moving.
