was sitting on the bench in the residents lounge, her worried eyes on Meredith as she shoves a baggie of dust in her cubby. Cristina is directly behind Eleanora, every other resident staring at the odd scene before them.

"What exactly are we looking at?" Cristina pipes up. Izzie answers for Meredith, her voice slightly disgusted.

"Meredith put her mom in a baggie and brought her to work."

Eleanora gasped, her voice high-pitched. "Meredith, you did not!?"

Meredith huffed, turning to look at her fellow residents. Her eyes were slightly narrowed and her tone sharp. "I had to get her out of my closet. She was haunting me."

"And now she's haunting all of us." Alex griped, Eleanora shaking her head at her friend.

"Mer, seriously? I feel like this is somehow illegal."

"I'm putting her to rest!" Meredith argued, grabbing her lab coat to pull on.

Sydney Heron spoke up, her voice full of understanding. "Meredith is cleansing. In tribal culture, when one wants to cleanse the past, one cuts off all of one's hair and buries it in the earth. You might try that, too."

Cristina and Eleanora slowly turn to look at the woman, brows raised. Sydney flashed them a smile, but before Cristina could say something rude or snappy, Callie and Bailey walked in.

"Okay, listen up. Today is a holiday, which means the pit will be overrun." Eleanora stood up from the bench, making a happy noise. She loved Halloween, and especially loved what Halloween brought to the pit. "You've got the usual drunken stupidity-"

"And then you've got Seattle's annual chain saw pumpkin carving contest. I love this city." Bailey interrupts, her voice matching Eleanora's giddiness.

Eleanora grabbed her stethoscope and pager, getting ready to leave as soon as Callie was done. She wanted to completely finish rounds before the pit became chaotic, which meant she had to be fast.

Callie gave a small laugh at Bailey's excitement, focusing back on her residents. "Stay on your toes, and stay on top of your interns, okay?"

Izzie raised her hand to grab her Chief Resident's attention. "So, should we round before heading to the pit or..."

Callie scoffed, raising her hand to motion at Izzie. "Yeah, you should direct your questions to Dr. Bailey, Stevens."

Eleanora tilted her head in confusion, her voice showing it as well. "Why are we directing our questions to Dr. Bailey? Oh, do you have a big surgery?!"

Callie shook her head, giving Eleanora a tight smile. "Oh, not you guys. Just Stevens."

Eleanora's face fell, her eyes widening slightly. George hadn't spoke much about if he had continued seeing Izzie to her, probably because he knew she'd be disappointed. But if Callie was acting like this to Izzie, plus the other day with the almost fight....

"Why is Stevens directing her questions to Dr. Bailey?" Bailey asked, looking between Callie and Izzie as though they had an inside joke she wanted in on.

"Because she's been sleeping with my husband." Eleanora squeezes her eyes shut, the room going silent and tense. "All righty then. Have a good day."

Callie swiftly leaves, and after a few moments Izzie storms out. Eleanora opens her eyes to look at Cristina and Meredith, both of their faces full of shock.

Cristina finally made a noise, pointing at Meredith. "Okay, this is even more disturbing than your bagful of mommy."

Eleanora sighed, shaking her head as she went to leave. She stopped right beside Merediths cubby and gave the baggie of Ellis Grey's ashes a look, feeling a shiver run up her spine as she hurried out.

"It's creepy, Mer! And worrying. So, so worrying!"

laughed at a joke Olivia told her, sitting at one of the computers at the nurses station. Olivia's smile slips from her face and turns into a glare, Eleanora furrowing her brows as she followed her eyesight to find a smirking Mark Sloan.

Eleanora sighed, shaking her head as she realized why Olivia would be acting like that towards Mark.

"Good morning." Mark greeted, letting his eyes dance over Olivia's body before turning them to Nora, winking. Eleanora stifled a giggled, laying her chin in her hand as she watched the train wreck about to happen.

"Don't do that. Don't smile at me." Olivia snapped. Eleanora turned the chair slightly when she noticed Johanne, another nurse, stop just behind Olivia, giving Mark her own glare.

"Don't smile at her. Don't smile at me, either."

Eleanora bit her lip, her eyes shining with amusement as she looked between the two pissed off women and Mark, who deflated slightly. However, he still tried to keep up his confident and cocky aura, raising a brow.

"We're onto you." Olivia said with sass, giving him a look. Johanne nodded, her voice the same as her friends.

"We've compared notes."

Elenaora couldn't stop her laugh that time, giving Mark apologetic eyes when he narrowed his eyes at her for a moment. He turned back to the two nurses, trying to play it off.

"Compared notes? ?"

The two woman hummed in agreement. Olivia held her hand out for the chart Eleanora had, the Doctor quickly giving it to her with a goofy smile on her lips.

"Compared notes, compared pickup lines compared techniques."

Eleanora's eyes widened and her face heated up slightly, turning her eyes to Mark to watch his reaction.
