Chapter Fifty Six
"Who are you?" Donnelan managed to steel his nerves and ask a question.
[So my own descendant does not know who I am?] The being of lightning shook its head slowly, as though disappointed in Donnelan.
"Your descendant? What do you mean by that?" A bubble of confusion was building up within Donnelan. The being waved its hand dismissively before asking another question.
[Forget that for the moment. How many years have gone by since my ascent as the Lightning God?]
"T-The Lightning God?! It's been roughly seven centuries now-!" From confusion, to shock, Donnelan's emotions changed rapidly upon hearing the title that the being of light referred to itself as. As a being who had undergone apotheosis before, they had shed their mortal bodies and ideologies, as such, human names were of little value to them. They only went by their newly gained titles of Godhood.
