People whispered and pointed at Kasuyi as they passed through, news apparently having spread through town in the time that had passed.
That was good. It was best to let the people know that the times were changing, as were their circumstances. Although the change would be quite jarring, and quite a few people would oppose the change in their once peaceful lives, it was for the best.
