Just when all hope seems lost, Lyra remembers a childhood memory - a song their mother used to sing, a melody that held the power to soothe and protect. Lyra begins to sing the song, her voice echoing across the battlefield.
Kieran's eyes flicker, and for a moment, the Shades' control wavers. Lyra seizes the chance, reaching out to her brother and singing directly to his heart. The Shades' hold on Kieran shatters, and he collapses, freed from their grasp.
As Kieran regains his senses, he's met with the truth - the Shades' manipulation, his own actions, and the harm he caused. Overcome with grief and regret, he begs Lyra and their friends for forgiveness.
Lyra, seeing the good in her brother's heart, forgives him and welcomes him back into the fold. United once more, they join forces to defeat the Shades and shatter the darkness.
