The nicest person might be your secret enemy...

Lucian sat quietly in the moving ship. He had many things to think about .

First the fight he had . He thought he had reach the pinnacle of strength.He believed as the son of the great king of Orton that no one would dear try to harm him, but all this turned out to be false . Most importantly he was weak .

He had to use the power of false and fear against his opponent 'that power shouldn't be called the universal truth, it is more of a lie ' he thought to him self. Then he glanced at his side towards Nari who was sitting quietly and gracefully on her seat. 'will she keep this a secret ? I used ether there ' he feared her telling her father all that she saw. Nari was known to always never hide a secret from her father and this is a huge secret which she might definitely tell him.

" are you afraid that I would tell my father about everything that happened here "she spoke while still glancing towards the moving ship window. 'seems like we went really far from the capital' she thought while admiring the night clouds 'they are perfect . I wish I could be as free as they are' she wished silently .

"Uh...?" Lucian was surprised at her accuracy at reading his thought .

"Do not be worried . This secret, I will take it to my grave". she promised lucian but with a neutral look.

"Thanks ..." he said while feeling bad for doubting her.

"You don't need to feel bad for not trusting me with such huge secret "she consoled him while patting his back lightly "I wouldn't trust anyone if I were you...but I am not you" she said. concluding her speech with the last statement.

"I will make it up to you later " he promised.

"Wait till we are old enough to keep your promise " Nari said with a smile.

There was an announcement in the ship. stating that they have landed in the cemtral city so they could alight.

'we got here in the day. how long did we fly on the bike ?' Lucian asked as he came down the ship.

"Lucian !" Declan called the moment Lucian alighted from the ship alongside Nari . She flew with max speed to hug Lucian which he didn't refuse but groaned at his masters strength .

"Master " Lucian called when he felt his masters gentle hug 'is this really the strongest persons hug ? My father would break my bones if it were him.

"Um...?".

"All eyes are here, master" "he reminded his master while looking around at the civilians who came to welcome him. There were royal gaurds cladded in silver armour at either side of the road. They made a straight line to stop the people from coming too close with the prince .

"Why are they stopping the people from welcoming me ?" Lucian asked as he walked side by side with his master and Nari . The king of Orton was waiting at the end to receive him.

"We are at war lucian. The king did this to stop intruders who are hiding among the crowd from getting close to you" Declan explained .

"Can they invade the central city ?"Lucian asked. He wondered how big of an organization they would be to achieve that. 'they would be a very big and dangerous organization if they could' Lucian thought.

"Your uncle Hikel is the one leading the opposition force " Declan broke the news to Lucian. "he would have set up a lot of things to accomplish his goal" Declan explained.

Lucian didn't believe his masters accusarion. He believed she was wrong "He is a good person, how could such a person do that?" Lucian asked.

"The nicest person might be your hidden enemy" she said while looking at Nari. Lucian di not understand his masters statement, he left it at that after much thought.

"young princess, are you perhaps Lucian betrothed?" Declan asked changing the topic of discussion leaving Lucian to his worlds of doubt and realization.

"Yes, your grace " she bowed politely and said the usual greetings usually said to a protector.

"Drop the formalities" Declan waved his hand in a friendly manner "do you mind if we exchange talks between our selves, excluding Lucian of course?" She asked politely.

"You are a man your grace . It is unsightly for a young lady to be alone with a man " she said .

"Did your father teach you that ?" He asked rather politely when he mentioned her father .

"Yes he did "she responded.

"Go with him " Lucian spoke after a while of silence.

"Uhh...?". Nari was surprised.

"If he asked to speak to you alone ; that meant it is important and besides, i think my father wants us to be alone " Lucian explained .

Declan was surprised at Lucian quick to understand the situation logic " you are right about that " Declan confirmed.

"Then please, your grace " Nari bowed politely waiting for Declan to lead the way
