The Sin of Envy in Tensura

Leviathan, Lord of Envy has no current user and its abilities are unknown ? What a better skill for our envious mc. ~~~~~ He is jalous but not sickly jealous, will do anything to protect his loved ones. He can copy skill and do multiversal travel, you know where it's going. Maybe jalous but not selfish. ~~~~~ Just for fun, I have no writing skills and have never wrote anything so don't expect too much. I hope you will still like it. I'm not a native english speaker. I don't own any character except for the OC and skills I guess. The cover is mine, I did it using IA.

Slice Of Life 1

AN: Short slice of life -short in words- cause why not. This set of event could occurs.. well I don't know yet, I'll move this chapter later if needed. It's not really important to know, for now.

---

With no need to sleep, Mamoru and Rimuru spent most of their nights together. Mamoru, in his bat form, would hang from a tree branch on a mount overlooking the village, conserving his magicules.

They enjoyed sparring, not by fighting but by playing games;

Game board.

Mamoru coming from the West liked to play chess. With the help of Shrewd-chan, he could carve intricate chess pieces.

Though he didn't succeed on his first try due to his limited knowledge and lack of familiarity with carving, he persevered.

The most challenging part was creating the chessboard with its two nuanced colors and distinct sets of pieces. Improvising, Mamoru opted for two different types of wood from trees that, when dried, showcased different shades of browns.

On the other hand, Rimuru coming from Japan was more familiar with a game called Shogi, also known as Japanese chess.

Rimuru, being a cheater of sorts, would simply gulp down wood and let Great Sage do most of the work.

That made Mamoru a bit mad and Rimuru would laugh at him. He didn't blame Rimuru; after all, having a supercomputer at your disposal, you couldn't help but make the most of it.

He was determined to get his revenge! Winning that is!

Instead of asking Rimuru to duplicate the set of pieces he had already carved using a different type of wood, Mamoru decided to challenge himself and carve the entire set from scratch.

Having the entire night to spare, Mamoru preferred to carve the pieces himself.

Mamoru, finally completing a full chessboard, decided that before starting to play, he would make a wooden sword for goblin's training.

Rimuru was curious about the sword Mamoru was making, which strangely resembled a bokken.

After Mamoru finished the sword, he handed it to Rimuru and asked, "I've never used a sword before. Is it good enough?"

"Even though it's made of wood, it's well-crafted and suitable for training purposes. That's what you were aiming for, right?" said Rimuru after inspecting the sword.

"Correct,I thought the goblins could use of it for training," Mamoru confirmed.

Rimuru kindly offered to duplicate the wooden sword, and with his skill, he created multiple copies for the goblins to train with.

The copies were even better, as smooth as butter, leaving no chance of getting a shard from them.

"Now then, Rimuru, let's get serious," Mamoru said with a grin, cracking his fingers.

...

The current battle was unparalleled in its intensity, the most intense the world had ever witnessed.

It was a spectacle of reality breaking, earth shaking, power surging, widow making, and ass clapping.

The sheer display of power caused the fabric of space to collapse and multiple universes to merge together.

The fate of the omniverse teetered on the edge, its existence hanging in the balance, but salvation came in the form of a resounding signal that marked the end of the ferocious fight.

"Checkmate!" shouted Mamoru.

Rimuru was the only victim of this violent clash.

The world was safe, at least for now.

...

Rimuru's stomach.

Veldora observed the two playing, excited to learn a new game called chess. However, he couldn't help but feel a bit melancholic since he could only play by himself.

To cheer himself up, he reassured himself that the time spent alone could be valuable for mastering the game and defeating anyone in the future.

He then did his signature laugh: "KUAHAHAHA"

I was genuinely afraid that they would annihilate the world, leaving no story to tell.
