Ewe Meets Wolf

The wolf was gazing out into the starry night. He began searching for a meal to sate his hunger. As he walked around the woodlands, He happened to stumble upon a large fenced pasture. He observes the nearby vicinity and only spotted a flock of sheep North of him.

Seeing them was making his mouth water heavily. Then he spied a tasty treat, a lonely-looking Ewe.

Creeping silently towards this ewe, Wolf prepared to pounce.

But at the last moment, the ewe looked up at him. The wolf froze immediately in place. Wolf thought to himself, I have never seen my meal look so cute.

The ewe appeared to be frozen in fear and had not run away yet, or the darkness still concealed him. Leaning forward, the wolf took a deep whiff. They even smell differently than just food too.

The wolf's stomach gurgled. Then, he took another step forward and opened his mouth to grab the ewe.

Yet something felt wrong. The wolf could not bring himself to attack this ewe. What is wrong with me?

The wolf thought, and feeling is quite annoyed with himself.

Unable to overcome his emotions, Wolf retreated into the woodlands to figure out what was wrong with him and watched over the ewe.

Wolf watched the ewe for days and noticed the ewe was different from all the other sheep, but he could not understand it. Then one day, the ewe disappeared! What has happened?! Did some other wolves come and steal her away? I must find my ewe!

The wolf looked high and low, and, finally, he found what he was seeking. The wolf found the ewe in a crowd of other sheep, and he was relieved. But the wolf wonders why I feel this way about this

ewe? Is it the smell, or is it the shine of its coat?

The wolf decided to act on his wild urges and bolts towards the cluster of sheep, and they ran all directions while yelling Wolf! The wolf ran and ran around, chasing them all until he

saw one he sought. While they stumbled around and ran in a circle, he bolted towards the ewe. As the wolf ran towards the ewe, he tripped over a rock and roles towards the ewe.

The ewe stops and looks both ways and says. Who there? The wolf shakes his head, gets off the ground, looks up, snarls at them, and shows his teeth, but she still does not budge. So they stood there and

stared and said, anyone there? The wolf replies to the ewe. I am here. Why say who there if I am right in front of you? said the wolf.

The ewe looks surprised, oh, I did not know you were there. The wolf was confused about the ewe's response. Finally, the wolf wonders so, he starts to wave his paw in front of her, but she does not blink. Instead, she

starts to sniff his hand with a confused look upon their face. You also have an unusual smell, who are you asked the ewe. The wolf smiled and thought she would run away if she knew who I was or what I was.

The thought of her running away made him excited as he got into his running stance; I am Miro the Wolf. She stood there silent. While the wind blew, she suddenly ran towards the wolf and said,

Nice to meet you, Mr. Wolf. Miro looked puzzled and surprised- Why are you not afraid? Why are you not running for your life? Then the ewe said, Well, I do not feel threatened by you, and I don't need to fear you. Then, Miro said in a disappointed tone, "Why not? You are my prey.

"The ewe smiled and drew closer to the wolf, but the wolf started to walk backward, "What are you

doing?" in a nervous tone, the sheep said, "I just want to be friends..." With a sheepish tone. In frustration, Miro replies. I took so many sheep, and I am a wolf, and you are my food. But the ewe ignores what Miro was saying and says, "I'm new around here, and I don't have any friends. You would be the first, and I have never talked to a wolf before. The ewe got closer. I heard stories about wolves and how stupid and

hot-headed they are, and they kill before asking questions, but here you are talking to me. and I do not think you are a wolf, more like a strange smelling ram." Miro ran out of room to walk back and hit the wooden fence behind him. The ewe got closer and closer until there was face to face.

But this time, Miro was afraid and confused.

"I am a wolf! I'll prove it!" He then howls right in front of her, and she is scared but amazed. "Wow, that was cool! How did you make that sound?" He licks her cheek, grabs her hoof, and grinds it against

his teeth, "See! Can you feel the difference between us?" After proving he was a wolf, he looked at her face, and she was blushing. Miro wonders, why? "What's your name?" asked Miro in a mischievous

tone. As she stutters, she replies. "My name is Mira..."

For the first chapter, I wanted to see what will happen p if a predator didn’t act upon their urge to kill, and here are the results and for people who don't know what a ewe is, it's a female version of a ram.
