Shower Time

I beg and plead, probably looking like an insane person but Thane really isn't having it. As he reaches the showers, he continues to drag me until we're inside the locker room. Why are they walking around NAKED!?! WHYYYY!???

Thane still holds me by the back of my shirt so I quickly spin around and squeeze my eyes shut. I thought I had seen things before... I shudder again as Thane starts dragging me further in. "If you try to run, I'll have the others drag you back. Stop acting like it's such a big deal and shower. You'll feel better after."

I grit my teeth and quickly snatch my clothes and towel. Thane slowly releases me and I quickly run to the farthest shower stall. I step inside and draw the curtain closed before quickly stripping down and turning the shower on.

I begin power washing myself until I hear the shower in the stall next to mine turn on. When I look over, I see Thane stepping into the shower! I quickly move as close to the wall as I possibly can so he can't see me and try to think of what to do.

To his credit, he seems to be completely focused on his shower and hasn't looked over. As long as I stay against the wall, he won't be able to see anything but my face. My legs tremble from exhaustion but the adrenalin running through me gives me enough strength to keep standing.

When Thane turns around to wash his back, our eyes connect and he does a double-take. We stare at each other for several seconds before Thane frowns at me in confusion. I awkwardly smile and act like I'm washing as Thane slowly shakes his head and goes back to washing.

When some of the guys start yelling and cutting up, my whole body locks up. I look over to see one guy run into the same shower stall as another guy! They're all laughing and cutting up but it looks like a death sentence to me!

I quickly rinse out my hair and cut the water off. I grab the towel and try to dry off as I keep myself against the wall. As soon as I can, I grab my clothes and quickly get dressed. I don't even care that my shirt is on backward!

I grab my things and practically run out of the stall but when I'm met with a very naked Thane, I stumble back and nearly land on my ass! I quickly swing my head up and around as I practically crawl passed him.

Thane's frown continues to grow as he watches me crawl past him while muttering something like a crazy person. At this point, even I think I'm a crazy person! He wraps the towel around his waist as he asks "What the hell are you doing?"

I awkwardly look at the ground before patting it and saying "Contact! I lost my contact! The darn thing always pops out at the most awkward times..." I swipe at the floor and pat it as I continue to crawl away but when Thane says "I'll help."

I quickly say "AH! I found it! I better go get the solution before it dries out! Thanks!" I act like I pick something up before running out of the bathroom like my ass is on fire. I slip and slide a few times before finally making it out of the bathroom.

As I run out of the shower room, I run straight into Conner! "Hey, Valen! Can you help me scrub my back? There's always this one spot I can't quite reach and if.." I cut him off and say "Sorry! I need to call my parents!!"

I run away with all my might and when I finally make it back to the room, I walk to the bathroom and lock the door. I try to shake all the nakedness out of my head as I fix my chest bind and shirt. When done, I use the bathroom and drag myself to my bed.

I fall face first and groan at the feel of my bed. It feels so good... The door opens and the smell of a freshly showered Thane lets me know who it is without looking. The door shuts and after he does a few things, he turns to me and says "Let's go get something to eat."

I groan and say "I'm good... I think I'm gonna call it an early night." Thane puts something down before walking over to my bed and saying "You need to eat to gain strength. If you don't eat enough, you'll only grow weaker. Let's go."

He grabs the back of my shirt again, pissing me off as I snap and say "Stop dragging me around as you please! Let me be a worm! I'm perfectly fine with being one!" Thane only pauses for a second before saying "I don't think I can handle watching you die..."

We both awkwardly stare at each other for a few silent moments before I mutter "Fine..." Thane slightly smirks at me before pulling me out of the room. I can't tell if he was being serious or not but when he mentioned dying... I suddenly felt like eating. No matter how much it hurts to move.

Thane drags me to a table and plops me down before saying "Stay" and walking off. Normally, I wouldn't listen and just do my own thing but I just don't have it in me to do anything other than 'Stay'.

I lay my head down on the table and before I realize it, I've dozed off. The sound of a tray being placed in front of me startles me awake. I jerk and look up to find Thane looking at me with concern. He pushes the tray of food to me and says "Eat and then you can sleep."

I numbly nod my head and lift my fork and knife. I try cutting the meat but my poor arms are dead. Thane sighs and pulls my tray back to him. He starts cutting my meat up before pushing it back to me. My eyes water in gratitude before digging in.

Thane looks at me, slightly startled before cutting into his own food and eating. By time Conner catches up to us, I'm falling asleep while chewing my food. Conner snaps his fingers to wake me up and it works a few times.

Thane watches the little guy struggle to stay awake and eat his food. Was this guy really nineteen? He seemed so much... younger. Thane pushes the food closer to him ever so often so it's easier on the little guy as Conner tells us a story about something but he wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying.

No, his focus was on the little bird. When they were in the showers, he got to see the tops of his shoulders and he's much smaller than he originally thought. It was concerning. He needs to put on some more weight so he can gain some muscle.

He really is odd though... When Thane looks back up, he quickly sticks his hand out and catches the little bird's face! He passed out! Conner looks over with shock before snickering. Thane looks at the little guy with disbelief before slowly pulling his tray of food away.

He slowly lowers his head down before sliding his hand away. He grabs the fork still in Valen's hand and sets it to the side. Conner continues to laugh as Thane looks to the hand that caught Valen's face from hitting the tray of food.

His face is so tiny... that's twice today. His hand is bigger than his whole face...
