Chapter 3: I've really transmigrated, for real?!

After disappearing, Danna found herself in a dark space. Wherever she turns her sight on, all she can see is just pure darkness.

"@%$$$&@#%" came the murmurs in the distance, after turning her head to the sound's direction Danna saw nothing but soon heard some tapping sounds like heels hitting the ground.

In the far distance, amidst the darkness, Danna seems to see herself walking, like a mirage of the recent events in her life…

*Flashbacks*

After crossing several streets and walking for a few minutes, Danna finally reached her destination and stopped.

She raised her head to look at the building in front of her, her workplace. Stepping inside, the people naturally avoided her and the alienation was very evident.

One would immediately notice that she was alienated. But nonetheless, Danna has no time to mind it. Work is work.

After locating her desk she immediately started today's work. As if, she isn't hearing the murmurs around her.

Only, As if....

Gossiper A: "Look, that's her. I can't imagine how can she have so little self respect of herself." Said a voice laced with contempt

Gossiper B: "Ah..! That girl who has an affair with the director?" Another voice replied and asked.

Gossiper C: "Yeah, doesn't she know that the director is married and already has a wife and kids?"

Gossiper B: "Heh…who cares about that? It's all about as long as you can elevate yourself."

Gossiper A: "With that looks of hers? How did she even manage to? Maybe she's that really good in bed? Hehe…who knows."

Gossiper D: "hey…shhh! Careful! The director's here!" Another voice sounded, clearly berating the other with a voice thick with warning.

Of course, Danna could actually hear them all, but she knew better than to cause some unnecessary disputes, lest she be fined by the company for causing internal strife and in result, affecting the company's work efficiency.

-'hmmm, keep calm, Danna, keep calm…it's all just their wild speculation, just some rumors, just some ru-… " hey! Do you lot think I'm deaf?! If I'm really his mistress, how about I tell the director to fire the all of you,huh? So fvcking shut up!" …-mors

Danna almost had fire, blazing in her eyes.

Danna really doesn't know what's with her today, normally she would just let it pass but today, she was just so angry that she can't help it and cursed. Hah..she must be possessed by an evil spirit.

Danna, you stupid idiot, She inwardly berated herself.

After Danna released some fire with her lashing and finished, it is just in time as the director walked in, and just in time as Danna finished screaming.

"And what is this all about?" Came a man's voice from behind that pulled the attention of the workers, leading them to looking back.

Entering the office, a man that looked to be at his forties with a huge body and a beerbelly stomach coupled with a moustache , walked in. All in all, he has the appearance to be your typical corrupt/lustful or the forty something man cheating on his wife but is a noveau rich guy, commonly found on manhwas.

"Di…director!" someone stuttered from the back.

"Good Morning, Director!" Everyone greeted in unison.

Scanning the office, he gave everyone a casual glance but his gaze particularly stayed a little longer on Danna. And this abnormality, was of course, quickly noticed by some sharp-eyed employees. Danna was exasperated but helpless. Better get ready for another rumor to sprout about ,her, being a mistress again. The director was really a disaster, her image was being quickly ruined.

"No…nothing director! Just some morning chats!" Said someone, who very wisely, quickly thought of an excuse to cover the whole fiasco, lest they all be dragged in the mess.

"Chatting?! Is the company paying you guys, to just waste your time like this? It will be a whole lot better if you all started working! Waste! Go back to your respective works right now!!!"

The director just practically roared as if he owned the whole place and forgetting that ,he too, was also just an employee here despite his slightly higher position. Which is, based on his working ability, is just what he got through connections.

"hmm, Danna. Have you had breakfast yet?" The director asked, with a tone which was clearly a tone softer, compared to before. This change in tone clearly aroused the ire of the other employees due to the clearly blatant show of preferential treatment.

" I have director." Danna replied very plainly and normally as possible lest she get accused of openly seducing the director now, if she will base it on her co-worker's very active, imaginative and wild mind.

"Very good! Go bring your papers to my office later." The Director's voice trailed off and echoed in the hallway as he left behind an order before proceeding to walking towards his office again.

Danna had a look of worry and uncertainty in her eyes, since she know what would likely follow anyway. It would mean that she would be molested again, or else, how can those rumors about her being a mistress come to be??? Once, she had been seen being molested and has thought asking for help but was instead accused of having an affair with the director.

'Oi, Listen you little piece of shits! I'm not having an affair with the director and yet, you lot was blaming me here, the one who was actually sexually harassed!!!" Danna would really want to drill this sentence to their very brains right now.

Of course, although quiet, don't expect her to be a little persimmon. After growing up in an orphanage where food is little and scare, competition between the kids is common. As one of the orphans in that orphanage, without competing with others, how else would she grow up plump and healthy? In fact, she was even the leader figure of those little rebels, back then in the orphanage.

With this habit, Danna developed quite the attitude too,definetely a little bit too competitive and a tad bit selfish. In that kind of environment Danna realized that the world isn't as kind.

Only after so many years and experiencing the world did she manage to suppress this other side of her and learned how to just stay quiet but made sure to never die.

Everyone has their own dark sides, not everyone is as kind, it's just that their selfishness rarely shows. After enduring for a

few days, Danna judged her situation as hopeless and just decided to resign and find another job. A better one.

Reaching the director's office, with a stack of papers in hand, Danna knocked twice and entered after gaining approval.

"Director here is the documents you requested."

In the office sat the director in his leather seat behind his desk with a smile of unknown meaning plastered in his face, coupled with a burning gaze directed towards Danna.

"That's all director, I'll be taking my leave" Danna doesn't even want to stay an extra second there.

"Wait" Called the director, a second before she can twist the doorknob

"Danna come here." Danna stepped forward five steps.

"A little closer." He reached out for Danna's hair and caressed her face. Danna was about to die of disgust.

Slap~! A resounding slap sounded in the quiet office as the directors hand was quite painfully slapped hard by her.

"Director."

"Is that how should employees treat their superior?!" He snapped.

"And, is this also how you treat your subordinates here? Harassing them?" Danna didn't have that much of a patience either since she had already decided to resign anyway.

"heh...Is this considered harassment?"

" Even if maybe you didn't right now, but what about the other days? Besides, if I'm really going to have an affair with my superior, why not choose the more handsome one? Quite unlike you." Danna looked up and down at him with contempt and scrutiny.

Danna didn't give him much time to digest the insults and declared: "I'm resigning."

Danna watched everything playing in the distance with blank eyes, after the mirages ended, she began to slowly ponder, the happenings next…

She resigned but no one dared to take her in due to thr director's influence. After that...

The Danna that is floating in the darkness was struck with a realization.

"Form…"

"Envelope….badge?"

She wearily and slowly whispered in that dark space.

"@#$&#@&$#" Pondering for a while, Danna soon heard these strange voices again.

"@#$&#@%" Came the murmurs in the distance for the Nth time.

…..

Morning.

In the peaceful Kingdom of Visére, One of their noble house was under commotion since it has already been a week since their young miss fainted and is still in a Comatose phase.

The girl lay in the bed peacefully and motionless, when the rays of sunlight hit her room windows then refracted on her face, the girl's eyelashes fluttered in response. When the maids saw this, they gasped in anticipation and glee.

Finally! Their miss is showing signs of waking up. They then immediately called for the physician, informed the master and began discussing in silent whispers near the bedside.

"@#$&$@%" Danna sensed the murmurs becoming stronger this time and was even coupled along with a blinding light. Together with this and at the same time, the girl lying on the bed slowly lifted her eyelids.

After the blinding light slowly receded, Danna was greeted with the sight of people wearing a maid's outfit crowding around her, or are they really maids?

Danna was bewildered by what she saw, When did she have maids? And the bed felt quite soft too, the blanket is smooth to the touch, plus what's with the luxurious ceiling?

Oh my gosh!!! Danna felt like she was struck with lightning, it couldn't be…

….could it be, could it be that I've really transmigrated? For real??!!

….WOAH!!!

…Danna was so dumbfounded that she failed to react for quite some time, thus, the maids witnessed the scene of their miss staring foolishly in the ceiling, like it's the most wonderful thing in the world.

Maids: "..."

Maids: Our miss couldn't have gone stupid from too much sleep right?!
