A date with Cynthia

Meanwhile i and Cynthia we became close friends and we shared things together this made some boys jealous of our friendship.

The next week i was determined to ask Cynthia for a date,but didn't know how to start because, i have never asked a girl for a date but there was this inner voice telling me that everything will be fine. During our free period in class i told Cynthia that want to tell her something and she told me to go ahead. Cynthia I....I... like I mean I love you I said the words shyly. I love you too baby Cynthia responded. My head was filled with joy when she called me baby,I felt like hugging her but I controlled my self are you sure I asked Cynthia to affirm what she said. Yes I am sure Cynthia responded with a smile immediately our literature teacher entered the class and we ended our love conversation. The topic for our literature class was poetry I was not focused on what the teacher was saying instead I was thinking about love. After the class, we moved to the dining hall where we ate our lunch which was Fried plantain with tea. There we chatted for sometimes and we made our friendship bond stronger. My best friend Chike came to me in my private time and asked me if Cynthia and I was dating. I lied to him at first but since he was my best friend, I opened up to him that we are dating but I warned him that he should not tell anyone. Unknown to me Chike have been crushing on Cynthia so he was sad when I told him that I and Cynthia are lovers. But Chike vowed to do anything possible to break the relationship which exist between me and Cynthia.
