We were all sitting in the principal’s office. Our clothes disheveled, our hair a mess, makeup running, and punch all over us. They made us call our parents, and I thought it was best if I called mine and left the others out of it. After explaining to my folks, I placed the phone back into the receiver. Then we waited.

Jordan’s suspension ended after three days, and he was back to school with the rest of us on Friday. Mario kept his distance for once, but something in my gut told me this was far from over. Ryan and I decided nothing would get between us. We were better together than apart.
