/"Mom! Dad!/" Emma exclaimed.

Maggie and Leslie ran to the front door to find their parents standing there. Their eyes widened as they looked at each other.

/"Margarita, Leslie, Emmaline, will you let us stand out here all day, or are you going to invite us in?/" The woman with a thick accent asked.

/"Yes, come in,/" Maggie said.

They stepped inside and looked me over. That would unnerve most people, but it didn’t to me. Considering who my parents are, nothing fazes me.

The woman removed her gloves and looked at them, then at me. /"Who is this?/"

/"Mom, this is RJ, my boyfriend,/" Emma said, sliding her hand into mine.

She walked over to me and studied me. /"You look very familiar./"

I kept my eyes on her as she looked me over. The man took a step closer to get a better view of me.

/"My wife is right. You look familiar,/" the man said.
