Confrontation

I grew impatient with my brothers. While they sat on their asses doing nothing, I visited Gloria to confront her about Dylan to get answers. I pulled in front of the house and got out of the car. There were crashing sounds and screams coming from inside.

/"What are you doing? Put the gun away, Maurice!/"

I ran to the front door, opened it, and stepped inside. Maurice was pointing a pistol at Gloria. Gloria was bloody and bruised as Maurice made her beg.

Then I heard a click. Before Gloria reacted, I tackled Maurice, and we fought as the pistol got knocked out of his hands.

/"You piece of shit!/" I slammed my fist into his face.

/"Carri!/" Gloria yelling distracted me.

Maurice knocked me off balance.

/"Run, Gloria!/"

We fought and crashed into furniture. No way was I letting this asshole go this time. Maurice and I fought, and he reached for the pistol.
