I sat there on the floor with Mel. I looked up to see everyone move out of the way, and in walked the three most feared boys of Saintwood. It was Ryan, Jordan, and Dylan. To say they were beyond pissed was an understatement. They walked over, and Ryan crouched. He looked at Mel while Dad pulled me away from her.

/"Hi, Melinda. I’m Ryan, and that’s Jordan and Dylan. We’re here to help. Okay?/" Ryan reassured Mel.

Mel nodded as he picked her up and carried her out of the room.

/"Where is he taking her?/" I asked Dad.

/"Follow us, and you’ll see,/" Dad said.

We followed them down to the living room and standing in the middle of the living room was Alex. Ryan walked over and set Mel down in front of Alex. Mel looked at Alex, and Alex said, /"Hello, Melinda. I hear you had a horrific night./"
