The threat is closer than you think

I woke up to find Ryan gone. He must have woken up early. I don’t know why, considering it was Saturday. I pulled the blankets over my head and cuddle into them, going back to sleep a little longer.

As I drifted off to sleep, I felt someone grab my legs under the covers and yank me from under my warm cocoon. I opened an eye to see a shirtless Ryan hovering over me.

/"Good morning, baby,/" he said in a husky voice. I opened my eyes, looking at his messy bed hair and the outline of his abs with the light bouncing off. His muscles in his arms were popping from him, hovering over me. I could get used to this view.

/"Isn’t it early to be up on a Saturday?/" I yawned.

/"It’s only 6:30,/" he replied.

/"Only 6:30,/" I said, giving him a look.

/"Yep,/" he smirked.

/"It’s a Saturday, with no classes, and I wanted to sleep in,/" I whined.
