Chapter 142 - Broken doll

It took a while for him to calm down. Zhu Kang's heart was still racing. Slowly he opened his eyes. White Snowflakes fluttered down his face landing on his nose.

'Snow? Is it already winter?'

He wiped the cooling drop of snow off his nose and looked ahead.

To his surprise, he did not see the small slouching figure instead in front of him stood a tall teenager with blood spattered all over his face.

"Winner, Zhu Kang!" the scar-faced man lifted the teenager's hand.

The other teens that were watching the arena cheered loudly.

For a second Zhu Kang was stunned. 'Is this the legendary time skip flashback? I think it is… Zhu Kang looks about fifteen years old.' his eyes fell on the teen who had a cold look in his eyes.

The life in those eyes had long diminished. He looked like a broken doll who knew only to hunt and kill on order.
