"Hey!" I called realizing how reckless Travis was acting. "How can you possibly just rush in like this?"
"Any other ideas?" Travis asked me stopping in his tracks. "Do we just wait for them to come for us?"
"Of course not." I growled, feeling offended. "But we don't know how many!"
"Should we call for backup?" Travis quipped, though he didn't seem very willing to do it.
"Give a quick call and then we will figure out how many we are up against." I tried.
Even though I was all for being rash and taking care of the problem, I didn't necessarily feel like being over powered in the end. I didn't quite get why but I couldn't shake the sense of foreboding that was starting to build in me.
Hoping that it was nothing I pulled my phone out of my pocket and quickly sent a text to Kim to let her know that I needed her help while Travis called his Beta and Delta.
Finished with the task at hand, Travis grabbed my wrist and began to lead me forward towards the smell of fresh blood.
