Wrath

As the pillar of mana shrunk the explosions slowed, the once flat plains were unrecognizable, not a speck of grass remained. The soil was displaced revealing the dungeons bedrock(?) Lumas felt Mind Down approaching and activated 'Equivalent Exchange' sacrificing a portion of his stamina for mana, feeling a cooling sensation in his mind Lumas righted himself looking at the grotesque figure in front of him…

The chimeric humanoid figure in front of him was a mimic, one of these destroyed a majority of Freya's Familia in their previous expedition. Mimic's are able to replicate the stats of anything and as long as they don't mimic another's stats they will retain them, the mimics can't copy skills or magic…

Realizing that this isn't going to be an easy fight Lumas slightly regretted burning up all his mana, however he could only let out a self deprecating chuckle as he backstepped moving several meters with a single step, his sword began to cut through the air 'First Form: Rising Sun'

The mimic didn't wait for him to finish as it leaped forward bounding across the uneven terrain, Lumas remained calm solely dedicated to this single swing. As if coming to life several solar flare whips coated the sword each lashing out with intense heat, but the Mimic didn't back down swinging it's arm with speed Lumas didn't even know he was capable of, both sword and hand collided creating a violent shockwave. A collision between two seemingly unparalleled beings, it was truly a sight to behold… Bell was completely immersed as he leaned against the stairs, his body refusing to make any movement due to extreme exhaustion, he felt he was on the edge of falling unconscious but the clash in front of him didn't allow him to.

Then came the flash, it was so bright that the world seemed to go black as Bell reeled back Lumas slowly took a stance 'Fourth Form: Solar Eclipse' all light seemed to cease at the moment until a small band of light trailed the swords blade, a distorted blood curdling screech thundered throughout the endless plains followed by thousands of traces of light 'Fifth Form: Descent of the Sun'

As light returned to the world a black swirling mass of mana revealed itself, this was the portal; as the guild named it, to the 71st Floor… Lumas stood tall Shadowsteel dangling at his side barely off the ground, slowly he began to tilt forward; he had run his mana dry and his stamina with it. Since that dreadful day he lost his arm he refused to 'sacrifice' his life force, leading to his current unconscious state.

Before Shadow Steel could touch the ground Ais caught Lumas pulling him close she uncorked a vial holding a deep blue misty liquid, swaying the vial under his nose he flinched back to consciousness. With a soft smile he kissed Ais whispering into her ear "Thank you love~"

Ais blushed like a pure maiden experiencing love for the first time as she pulled him closer, just as their lips were about to reach for the second time Bell called out "Let's not forget we're in the dungeon!"

A wry smile appeared on Lumas' face as he let out a cough, standing up he helped Ais to her feet. While everyone gathered around ready to enter the second floor Lumas' expression went cold, there was no lifeless aura or pressure excluding from him it was simply anger… no… Lumas was beyond furious, who dared threaten the life of his daughter… Who dares poke the dragon's nest…

With a pout Aria watched the remaining smoke trail off the candle her papa gave her, she was upset the flames were a beautiful cat and yet Sebas wanted her to 'Kill' it… She will have her revenge, with a beautiful yet scheming smile rising to her face she turned to face Haru… as for Haruhime when she saw that smile she remembered page 13024 of the PPC handbook and she shivered many of her fellow Butlers/Maids have warned her about that smile…

"Haru," Aria inched closer "I need your help with something…" pulling her hand from her pocket see revealed what seemed to be a water skin made from an elastic material, hurriedly she began blowing into it causing it to expand as she finished she took a deep breath as she passed the 'pouch' to Haru "Put this under grandpa Sebas' cushion," Aria's smile seemed radiant as she thought about his reaction she burst out into childish giggles as she rolled around the ground only stopping when a pained squeak reached her ears.

She froze and slowly looked towards Haru to see her curiously looking around, slowly reaching into her pocket she began talking with a slight panic in her voice "Umm Haru…" Haruhime crouched down to her level, her ever present soft smile slightly wider than before "Yes Princess?"

Aria frowned slightly but didn't comment on it, instead she stated "If you tell papa about what I'm about to show you, I'll… I'll… I won't talk to you!" Crossing her arms with a huff she turned her head trying to hide the looks out the side of her eye as she studied Haru's reaction.

With a low voice Bell cursed "Fuck…" Welf and Lefiya sent his questioning gazes, Bell turned to them and solemnly spoke "All I will say is that if you ever see him like that… just walk the other way and pray"

Ais was solemn she didn't know the reason or who gained his ire but when she heard Lumas say Aria's name she began to tremble. Even without its chant 'Tempest' exploded into life surrounding the couple as they began fading away…

When Lumas arrived the unfinished walls proved to be a problem, seeing the first region breached he spotted a red haired man excluding divine energy and he growled "Ares…", Ais had already gone on a killing spree running through Ares' rank the same way she would a horde of monsters, her movements were filled with grace not a single spot of blood tainted her beautiful figure… Lumas saved that image in his mind as cocked back his arm, a vortex of mana grew around his arm while his veins glowed with a bloody red light with his eyes focused solely on the 'dead' god he began fading away…
