Chapter 2 : Free

"And You are mine " as soon as she said those words she realized what she just said and cursed herself inside her mind. Cairo was shocked but more than shock why did it feel so electric and weirdly satisfying to hear her claim him as hers . Without even thinking Cairo cocked his head to a side so that he could lock his eyes with her and with a bit of cockiness said "Oh yeah? Care to explain how I AM YOURS !?"

Domina panicked and step aside to create a more space between them because honestly she was flustered and she definitely didn't want Cairo to look at her like a clichetic teenage girl who's heart thumps whenever she sees her crush ..well i mean yeah her heart thumps whenever she sees Cairo killing the creatures with absolute no mercy and with so much precision that darkness entices her so much so that she stops midway in a fight to admire the

view ...but he doesn't need to know that.

She then cleared her throat and looked at Cairo after composing herself and said " ahhhh that ...i meant you are mine as my mission partner ...you know right how much problematic and uncomfortable i feel with new people ...that's what i meant" As soon as she said she saw there was a sadness in Cairo's eye but as soon as it came it was gone too .

After this conversation was over there is really nothing much to say ..they bid their goodbyes and Dominatrix went inside her house .

Ugggghhhhhhhh....she thought as sounds of screams and breaking stuff came from the office room of their house . She hated her house ...Everyday her parents fought and their was no boundary to their fight ..she hated noise .

Before she didn't have the escape route so she had to listen to their fights everyday , everytime and she didn't show this but it fucked and ate her up inside .

But she remembered the first day she went for a mission there was a big fight at home and this fight included her too and all that frustration ,anger which was boiling inside her she let it all out in that mission . She barely remembers anything about that mission other than the feeling that she felt for the first time in life : FREE! Binding her sword with her magic and then killing all the creatures she remembers still date the tingling sensation that crept inside her as she for the first time slashed an Actual creature and not just a dummy one she uses for practice and when she saw the blood trickling down the creatures chest as she more and more twist the sword inside him , she was in a trance . Finally she could let it all out ! That day she almost killed 7 creatures alone ! At the end of the mission when her other teammates who were assigned with her for the mission saw her sitting on a rock drenched in sweat and covered in blood she was cleaning her sword and whistling with a smirk lingering on her face . After that day she practically flew and danced around with her sword in every mission relishing the taste of freedom by letting out her madness !

Today she wasin a good mood so she just ignored her parents and straight away went to her room . Tomorrow is a big day ..she will finally be A MAGICKAL OFFICIAL ! Now she just hopes for a good beauty sleep .

As soon as Dominatrix closed her eyes she found herself in a white room walking around dressed in a war armour suite . She looked around herself and there were bodies lying around ,the floor was covered in blood and middle of all this stood a large mirror . "Hello ,anybody here!?" Domina's voice echoed . "well i guess nobody is here ..huh..one day ..i just asked for one day good beautiful sleep and you couldn't even do that " she sighed and scolded herself . She went and stood infront of the mirror . Suddenly out of nowhere a frantic women with shackles tied all around her appeared in the mirror sayin frantically "You need to stop them from getting all the artifacts..You need to stop them ..only you can do it "

"who are you , whom i need to stop ..nobody is making sense " exclaimed a puzzled Domina when suddenly two hands groped her shoulder leading her to jump scare

"You will understand soon enough ..just remember if She comes back you have to start all over again but this time you won't have the chance ..you need to save magick. Only your blood can stop it . IT HAS TO BE YOU AND YOUR BLOOD.HAS TO BE YOU .. Remember my words Dominatrix when the time comes don't hesitate to sacrifice your blood . Your role is much bigger than you can ever imagine . " The woman disappeared within the ashes of mirror itself leaving a puzzled , scared Domina behind .

The alarm clock disrupted her sleep . She practically ran towards the mirror and remembered those old lady's words . what artifacts? who is that 'she'? And what can she possibly do to save magick? She barely knows it herself .

Dominatrix decided rather than dwelling on those stupid dreams its better to get ready for her graduation . Robe check,Cap check, Heirloom ring Check . With one last look at the mirror she headed out towards the academic builfing of the Rift Academy where her graduation ceremony will be held .
