Mu Qing long blue dress flowed like water as she stood, "If you have any questions, then please ask the eunuchs assigned to you."

Turning her back away from them, the beautiful Empress walked towards the door she had came in. Seeing Mu Qing acting high and mighty, Yu Chun gritted her teeth. Her Senior brother is no longer here, so she doesn't have to hold back anymore.

Yu Chun sneered, "Honestly, my brother and I are starving after traveling for so long. Is the palace so poor that you aren't even going to offer us food? I definitely need to speak to Senior brother about this."

While he felt that his sister is bullying the other party, Yu Xi did not mind it one bit. Hu Feng was no longer here, so what's the point of stopping Yu Chun? Mu Qing feet stopped dead in their tracks after hearing that insult. She almost turned around and whiplash this spoil princess. 'I just want to finish this banquet, so I can nap all day! I don't have time to play with you today!'

Her ice cold eyes glared at the pretty Yu Chun, "If you wish to join me for lunch then come, however today's menu is only a taste test for the banquet."

Her heels turned, and she didn't even looked back. The Yu siblings followed closely behind. Gu Chi and Ke Ying was at the end of the small train. As the party moved forward, the maids behind the Yu siblings glared at the two backs in front of them. Gu Chi would often kick small pebbles underneath their shoes, hoping one of them could fall. Ke Ying gave her a secret high five and helped her kick some onto their heels. The walk remained in silence as Mu Qing did not want to speak, and the Yu siblings were in their own thoughts.

Nearing a dining room, the two maids came forward and opened the door. After everyone settled in, the kitchen staff introduced each of the dishes one by one. A glint of joy flashed in her eyes, Mu Qing dismissed them and raised her chopsticks. A small frown wormed it way on to her lips after seeing Yu Xi and Yu Chun had already started eating without her permission. 'How much better this would be if I didn't have dumb and dumber with me?'

Everyone started eating, and Mu Qing would occasionally write some notes down about each dish. Some should be more spicy, others would be better if it was more bland. She was diligently doing her task, ignoring the two buddhas in front of her.

"Someone come and take this dish away," Yu Chun pointed at a deep fried fish dish tomatoes sauce, "Senior brother hates tomatoes the most. I can't believe as his wife, Empress Mu doesn't even know that."

A small clink was heard as Mu Qing slowly placed down her silver chopsticks. No one dared to come forth and take the dish away. The room was in complete silence, an awkward tension hung in the air. Icy hazel like eyes stared deep into Yu Chun's.

Yu Xi coughed a little, "Little sister stop playing around. Haha, Empress Mu, please don't take it to heart. Chun'er has known His Highness for a long time, so of course she would know his preferences more."

Her head was throbbing, her lunch was ruin, and now these two bozos were insulting her? She felt as though a volcano has erupted in her heart, however her complexion became even more frosty on the outside.

"To tell you the truth, Hu Feng said that the dishes would be to my taste. He said that it doesn't matter to him what the dishes were as long as I was happy. Princess Yu, please refrain from acting like the owner when the owner is in front of you."

Yu Chun's face turned bright red, "Yo-you! You dare speak to me this way? Not even Senior brother talks to me this way! I will definitely tell him!"

Her footsteps were heavy as she stomped out of the room. Yu Xi looked at the Empress, and a smile cunning smile laid on his lips. 'This woman is interesting.' He stood up and bowed to Mu Qing before walking out gallantly. Thanks to his sister, Yu Xi see that the first step was not to get Hu Feng's heart, but rather it was defeat this stone cold woman.
