Meeting Aiko.

Kurai was nervous as he was going to meet his older sister, Aiko. His parents saw how nervous he was and told him to calm down with a giggle. Kurai said that he was just wondering how she would be like. His mother, Iris told him that she had long black hair and emerald, green eyes, and she was also one of the top students in the academy.

Kurai thought about how strong his sister could be to be a top student in one of the top 3 schools in the nation. as they were getting off the carriage. His father, Daichi said that he wondered how much she had grown since she left the village.

Kurai's mother said that she must have grown a lot and I hope that she hasn't been slacking off her magic training. As they were walking up to the area where Aiko lived. Kurai felt a sense of nervousness again. As they were approaching the house, they saw Aiko standing on the front Porch.

Her luscious black hair flowed behind her as the wind was blowing. She looked over to Kurai with her emerald, green eyes and gave him a warm smile. Kurai's heart started pumping as he walked closer. "Aiko how've you been?" his father exclaimed, with a slight smile.

Aiko said I've been doing good dad, how have you been doing, mom, dad, Kurai. Kurai's mother had a slight smile and said that she's been doing great. Kurai also said that he was doing good. Aiko told Kurai that he's grown a lot. Kurai had a slight smile and said, "I guess I have."

Aiko told Kurai and the rest of the family to come inside. Daichi and Iris walked in and After them Kurai also walked inside. Kurai, Daichi, and Iris took a seat inside as Aiko took a seat. Aiko looked at Ryoko and asked Kurai about how he got a baby wyvern. Kurai told her that it was one day when he was in the forest and was slaying magic beasts and also exploring the forest, he saw Ryoko.

Ryoko was very bruised when he saw her, and he used healing magic to try and help her up and carried her home and feed her and after that we kept going into the forest together and then her affection for me grew and he became my companion.

Aiko was intrigued as she also wanted a wyvern to have as a companion as she normally travels alone. Ryoko then got off Kurai's shoulder and went on Aiko's shoulder. Aiko pets Ryoko as she had a slight smile on her face. Aiko then asked Daichi and Iris how have things been doing in the village.

Daichi told her that there was one attack of magic beasts but with the help of some villagers and Kurai we drove them away. Aiko was surprised as the village was rarely attacked by magic beasts as they didn't know where we were located. Daichi said that they probably followed someone back to the village.

Aiko said that it would be likely cause barely anyone knows where Toshi is, as it was a secret village that was very peaceful. Iris then told Aiko that Kurai had two elements just like her. Aiko was surprised and asked what elements did he have? Iris told her that he had Ice and Spatial.

Aiko was even more surprised as spatial was a rare element. They spoke for a little while and then Aiko asked if they would like for her to show them around the capital. Kurai responded positively and said yes. Aiko got up from her seat and said that they should follow her. Kurai, Daichi, and Iris got up and followed Aiko.

As they were walking a woman screamed and said, "That guy took my purse!" Aiko mumbled.

"Restrain."

A chain came out of a magic circle Infront of her hands and wrapped around the thief. She then walked up to him and took the purse from out of his hands. They took the thief to the guards, and they took him away somewhere.

Kurai looked at Aiko surprised that she caught that thief with little to no effort. Daichi said that "I guess people still steal even in the capital" Aiko responded positively and said that it's been getting worse for the pass year.

Daichi was wondering why crime rates would be getting worse over these years and brushed it off as a coincidence. They then reached a small restaurant looking place and Aiko walked in and call the worker by name as they were good friends.

"Julia it's Aiko I would like for you to meet my family." She shouted.

Julia came around from the back and introduced herself as Julia Dacres, and said it was a pleasure to meet them. I-I'm Kurai Aiko's younger brother. Aiko told them that Julia was contracted with the water spirit and was a great mage. Kurai was surprised as he didn't know there were spirits.

Kurai asked Aiko what all the spirits are out there. Aiko told him that there are 7 spirits. The water spirit, The flame spirit, The earth spirit, The wind spirit, The light spirit, The dark spirit, The thunder spirit. Kurai was thinking about the dark spirit since the whole demon lord thing.

Aiko asked Kurai which spirit he was interested in the nervously replied saying I don't know yet while rubbing the back of his head. Aiko then told Julia that she was just introducing her to her parents, and she will stop by later.

Aiko then took them to a spot where there was a crowd gathering to see what was happening at the front, where they saw a dragon where people were taking pictures beside of it as it seems it was not aggressive.

Kurai then looked at Ryoko and said that she will be that big one day and when we adventure, I could fly on your back with a slight smile. Aiko took them back to the house she stayed in as it was getting late.

After they reached Aiko's house, they told her goodbye and Aiko asked them where they stayed, and Kurai responded and said that they stayed at the royal palace. Aiko was shocked as she wondered how they were even let into the royal palace but said nothing about it.

They were on the carriage going to the palace and Iris asked Kurai if he had enjoyed himself and he answered positively and said yes with a bright smile.
