• Visions At Night

It was still dark when Spheris woke up. The air was as cool as it could be in the dubious world and there were sounds of loud insects chipping in the earth.

Another sound that Spheris could hear were grunts, like someone was fighting... or exercising. He pulled himself to his feet and looked over his left where the noise was coming from, and surely enough it was Cerene.

She was manipulating her element, forming different Influences and striking a poor, broad plant sprouting from the hill. Spheris's jaw clenched, understanding that a lot must be in the Avatar's mind.

He carefully made his way through the sleeping trio of Talon, Linne and Nero and deliberately walked towards her. He stood for a moment, watching her as she struck the plant continuously with her water blasts. Each time she hit the tree, she would maneuver the water to yet another blasting attack.

A frustrated grunt left her each time, and Spheris kept on watching this with silent worry.
