Chapter —13 [Scenarios]

'My heart Dances wild for her Gaiety'

Destiny or a coincidence

Ariana doesn't know what she should say. She never believed in destiny. Maybe this is a coincidence. 

An unfortunate one that makes her deal with all at once not only her friends but Hwang Lucy. It's like the nerd wasn't even enough.it's not like she doesn't love her friends, she does. But Lucy 'No Way!' 

According to Ariana, if she gets lost in a wasteland she would rather choose death than get help from Hwang. 

Today all she wanted to do is; tell, talk, and watch but it burned into flames as her friends decided to emerge between her and Seyong. Not to mention how Lucy was furious saying, maybe it was Ariana who forced Seyong to have lunch with her. She didn't say anything about Seyong's jacket though. Thankfully Seyong clarified everything in a low voice carefully

However, the next thing Ariana knew Lucy grabbed the nearest seat and sat beside the nerd and now Ariana is on the left side of Seyong and  Lucy is on the right. She could feel her friend's eyes on them.

  Even Seo thought the scene looks like a typical love triangle from a fictional story where two leads would fight with each other for one heroine, but she didn't say anything otherwise Ariana will surely be ready to slay her with the fork.  

 At the same time, Ariana knew after this she has to answer numerous questions that will throw at her back to back; 

The first probably would be. 'How Can The Nerd Wear Your Precious Jacket! You never let me touch it!.' Jo would scowl at her 

The second ' So this was your Important wORk?' Seo will be the person who acts as if she gets betrayed by her best friend 

Sighing too loudly she dug her fork into the salad. As she gets to know Chao Seyong is a Vegan she decided to eat salad despite the fact she wasn't in the mood. She listens to the conversation and whines about Lucy's driving skills. For that, she only said. "That's what happens when you let an Airhead drive" 

That statement could cause a scene but before Lucy could strike back Seyong placed her hands over her. " Lucy-ya, eat," she mumbled. Lucy nods and only gave a death stare to Ariana 

Ariana shrugs at it, eyes looking at their hands. Her grip tightened on her fork  'Is it necessary to hold hands? '. She rolled her eyes and focused on her friends. " What Happened to Jo's Cheeks ?" She asked. There was a little red on her cheeks 

Everyone looked at Jo who was eating peacefully, her head up when she saw everyone staring at her soul. Danny wanted to laugh at that but she keep quiet 

"She received her punishment, " Yeri answered like it was nothing 

"She called you Mommy?" 

Seyong choked on her food. 'Mommy' was something she never expected to hear 'Seriously how can they talk about this publically !', Coughing hard she tried to swallow her food. 

Lucy pats her back. "Seyong-ssi, be careful!'' She scolds 

When everyone assures Seyong is okay they start eating again. Yeri starts explaining. "  in front of everyone " 

Ariana complements.  "Well she is braver after all" 

Seo who had been quieter than before spoke  "Of course she is that's why we love her " 

They nod frankly and smile lovingly at Jo. It is fair to say the group of friends loves to tease each other 

Lucy was a little amused to see this Ariana, cause in the University Ariana Jane Wang Kin was a classy Queen Bee who always liked to be on top and loved to control. Everyone fears her 

Yet in front of her friends, she was just a normal girl who was joking, talking, teasing, and smiling most importantly making sure her friends and even she and Seyong enjoyed their meal. 'Maybe Kin can Change too' 

"Stop doing that " 

Ariana's voice stops her. She looks up to find the latter gazing at her hands which are held by Seyong  

"Doing what?" She asked 

Ariana pretended to think for a sec all the sights gazed With curiosity. "Breathing. " 

Lucy rolled her eyes just for a sec when she thought Kin could change but she was back to herself. Lucy holds up her spoon pointing at Ariana. "Why remind you of your boyfriend." 

There was silence. Ariana looked up from her food, hazel eyes staring at Lucy with a lack of sentiment. "Excuse me?" Her tone was cold.

 Lucy didn't say anything she knew if she said anything back about her boyfriend Ariana won't hesitate to do something that would frighten Seyong as her friend had never been witness to Ariana's fierce face. She chooses silence and continues to eat, listening to Danny where Danny is explaining their rehearsals

Ariana didn't speak. She only peeks at Lucy's hand, they are no longer held. Her lips edge upward. The holding hands indeed did something that didn't sit well with her. Still, sometimes she would find Lucy feeding  Seyong, the younger smiled at her best friend and uttered. 'Thank you. '

Even Danny said. "You two look like couples "

When a tint of blush occurred on the younger's face to the remarks it didn't go overlooked by Her. Munching her food  her eyes look at Seyong, not caring if her 'friends ' would ask questions

she can't help but wonder; would the younger blush if she feed her, instead of Lucy perhaps if Ariana held her hand just like she did before leaving the University, talking quietly with her so no one could know their conversation

Her mind keeps scenarios of what reaction she would receive if she uncover some truth in front of Seyong about her friends

If she told her that maybe Yeri liked Jo more than just a friend

If she told her that  Danny still checks under her bed just to see if there is a monster ready to attack her

Or Jo's obsession with crime shows.

Or her insomnia. No, she won't talk about that. Apart from that,  would be able to contain her playful smile if she whispers in Seyong's ear about Seo's habit of brushing her nails with toothpaste just to see if they look extra clean, not even her parents know about that. Would Seyong laugh at that and show Ariana her smile? the crackling sound of her laugh would sound intriguing 

And about Lucy, what would Seyong say if Ariana told her how she used to scare Lucy whenever their families have dinner together? when they were kids. Does She know how close the Wang Kin and Hwang families are? 

If she slides the whole seduction thing; Jea Youn's new girlfriend everything if she keeps herself in her present where she is sitting next to the 'egghead'. if she forgets the mistaken kiss 

Would it feel nice if she be friends with Seyong if she gets to know her? Have her side…

' No! Have her? What am I even thinking ?' Ariana frowned to herself 'AGAIN!' She breathed lost at the younger's sight. 'This has to stop!'  truly it should. 

How can she easily forget about her 2 years boyfriend and find herself ogling at this nerd? Maybe this is because of that kiss.

Is it only about the kiss?

 As Ariana remembers she once wanted to taste those lips but for the past few days when she gets a chance. She was distracted by Seyong's skill. There was no lie to admitting it herself she was impressed 

"Ah!" A small swoon groan makes her look beside her, with wide eyes before she could respond 

"Seyong-ssi! '' Lucy panicked, her hands gently holding Seyong there was a small cut 

Seyong smiled. " Lucy-ya it's nothing. I'm fine, " She took her hand out of Lucy's grip and stood up from her seat. " I will use the restroom". Lucy wanted to go with her but she told her she can take care of it.  

She went inside the hall and tried to find the restroom but had no clue. The French restaurant looked small from the outside but inside it was a maze and maybe Seyong is lost now.

She takes one left turn again thinking this is the wrong path but for goodness. She saw a man who was also passing by, wearing a suit 

"e-Excuse me s-sir?"

The man with blond hair who looks to be in his mid-twenties looks behind.  "Comment puis-je t'aider?" 

Seyong stared at the man in bewilderment, not knowing a single word the man just said 

The man took a  hint at the young girl's confession. "How can I help you, that's what I asked," he explained working in a French restaurant meant sometimes he has to talk in  French for those essential expensive families 

"Oh, umm, " Seyong looked down at her cut. "C-can you tell me where the restroom is?". The man's stares make her anxious, they didn't feel safe 

Amusing yet alluring, innocent or flattering, the blond man finds it desiring. Innocence could make someone obliged to ravish it. His eyes sparked with hunger. " I can show you if you want petite fille..." drawing his lower lip between his teeth, nibbling them. He took one step closer " Perhaps I can take you there Princess, " he husked making Seyong's back hit the wall 

Her eyes went around as the man's tall frame towered over her, gulping "n-n..no" She tried to walk past still a strong hand grab her forearm 

"Why I will help you chéri " 

She glances across the hall to find someone anyone who could help her from this situation but none not until 

"I Think She Said No. Didn't  She?"
