Just a normal fight? (Part 2)

Dan put strength in to his arms and pulled the Nero's jaws apart.

THUUUDDD!

Nero's jaw fell to the ground as blood splurted forth from his mouth. Litori punched the air and a straight thick line of sand came out of her hand. The sand shot out at a rapid speed like a geyser heading for Dan's head. Dan waited for it reach him and as soon as it was in front of his face he used Nero's body as a shield.

The sand went straight into Nero's open mouth which was lacking a jaw. Litori called back the sand that went into Nero's mouth. Dan then closed the distance and raised Nero's body into the air as he held him by the leg. He brought down Nero and smashed his body into Litori's.

Instead of stumbling backwards Litori's body turned into sand as chunks of it went flying of. The sand returned back into her body only to be sent flying of again as Dan used Nero's body like a bat.

Dan suddenly stopped using Nero like a bat and raised him in front of him holding him by the neck. Kolfi had fired of a white beam of light. It was really powerful.

The beam hit Nero. That was the entire point of it in the first place. She knew Dan would use Nero as a human shield. She watched as within 2 seconds Nero had regenerated his jaw.

He kicked Dan in the stomach and jumped backwards creating distance between himself and Dan.

Dan held his stomach. "So that blast was meant to heal him and not hurt me," Dan smiled exposing his teeth. "How interesting."

Dan raised his leg and struck it on the floor. The ground shook before waves started forming heading towards Litori, Nero and Kolfi. Litori simply charged forth jumping over the waves on the ground heading for Dan, Nero grabbed on to Kolfi who flew upwards and then threw him at Dan.

A giant ice spike rose from the ground heading straight towards Nero. Nero twisted his body in mid air and dodged it. This simple action had taken him of course. Litori was close to Dan. She jumped into the air. Her fist grew in size until it was practically bigger than Dan's body by twice fold.

Her fist was aimed at Dan and would have hit him had Dan not raised his hand and opened a portal. Litori not being able to stop herself in time fell through the portal. He closed the portal and then looked at Nero who was still coming towards him like a rock fired from a catapult with his fist outstretched ready to punch him with full force.

Dan covered his hand all the way to his shoulders in ice and clashed against Nero. The ice slightly cracked but not enough to do damage.

Dan then traded blows with Nero fists clashing against ice. After an exchange of nearly 200 strikes Nero jumped backwards doing several back flips. Dan thought of going after him but was stopped due to a blast of extremely hot energy which he barely dodged. Had he been a second late he would have been hit.

It did not stop there as Kolfi fired short bursts of energy. Nearly 5 blasts in a second. Dan turned into his shadow form and moved forward leaving behind a decoy of him that was made of ice.

He was about to head towards Nero when he noticed something on his status screen. It had been a long time since he actually looked at his status screen. There was no health bar! But that was not what worried Dan it was something else.

➡️ Abnormal effect: Internal hemorrhaging.

➡️ Abnormla effect: Severe Blood clotting.

➡️ Normal effect: Bleeding

➡️ Abnormal effect: Severe poisoning.

It was the blood clotting that surprised him. How was that possible? It would take at least a few minutes for a persons blood to clot together so when was this? Was it from the poison? No it could not be! Dan remembered how he exchanged blows with Nero. 'So it was then, that bastard has got some kind of attack that does internal damage, no wonder my arms are feeling heavy.'

Dan got out of his shadow and opened a portal to escape so he could heal. Nero noticed Dan who was stepping into the portal. He launched of the ground he was standing on leaving behind a small crater and grabbed Dan by the hand. Unfortunately for him his momentum was to great and he fell into the portal with Dan.

Dan lifted the hand Nero was attached to and threw him of of him. Nero landed like a gymnast perfectly on his feet.

With a wave of a hand the portal was closed. Dan smiled as he knew Nero would fall for it. He pretended to leave so he could separate them one by one. Or maybe 2 by one since this was the same place Dan had teleported Litori.

Dan looked around to see where she was but as he turned around he felt something connect with his face. It was Litori's who kicked him. Dan flew back a few metres before catching himself and firmly placing both legs on the floor.

Dan looked at his hands, they were so swollen that Dan knew he could not hold a sword, he also knew that it was the adrenaline that was stopping him from feeling any pain. During the fight he had been using the revitalising breath to get the poison out of him. Nasty, smelly green fluid was on his skin from his face to legs to arms. This was the poison that was excreted out of his body.

'At least the poison is taken care of,' Dan thought to himself. 'I could have easily taken care of them but I want to savour killing that elf besides she can heal them.'

"Do I know you guys?" Dan asked.

"What do you mean by do you know us?" Nero shouted.

"Shut up Nero, he's trying to get in your head. Just rush him and I'll give you support." Litori said. Dan noticed her eyes were shining and exuding a golden light.

"I'm not trying to do anything like that, I broke that guy's jaw once and used him like a bat to beat you until he was on the brink of death. Why would I need to get inside his head when I can easily kill an amateur fighter like him?" Dan said. In fact he was not actually trying to get in his head, he was stalling for time so that he could get his blood flowing again using the Revitalising breath.

Nero's eyebrows twitched upon being called an amateur. Litori noticed this and gave out a sigh, "Nero, don't do it?"

Nero clenched his fists, "YOU BASTARD!"

Nero rushed forward at Dan ready to kill him despite his entire goal being to capture him alive.

Dan sighed. "This fucking amateur!"
