Chapter Seventeen: Speak My Name

" I...I didn't mean that" Kara panicked, looking to Gabriel. " This is what I'm talking about. She isn't in love with you. It's a freaking facade that she has let everyone believe" Cassie remarked. Kara and Gabriel remained quiet, not being sure what to say to one another. It happened and it could never not happen. This made no sense to Kara, she had no idea why she would say something like that. She really didn't feel anything for Gwen. She knew she didn't. She had made peace with that situation.

" Kara..do you love Gwen? " Gabriel finally asked, which some how made the room even more tense than it was before. " No...I...I don't love Gwen..I love you Gabriel..Always and Forever, remember?" Kara whimpers as Gabriel stands to his feet and walks over to Kara, looking down, deep into her eyes, taking her into his arms.

" Tell me again. Tell me you don't love her " Kara looks down and goes to speak " LOOK ME IN MY EYES " Gabriel screams, but Kara could not bring herself to look him within the eyes. " Kara...look me in my eyes.." He demands but she does not do so. Gabriel finally let's go of Kara and turns his back to her. " I want you to go back to The Underworld. I will handle the Vampires. I will make sure they return back to the Underworld.

" Gabriel no..I can help..I can " Kara grabs onto Gabriel's shoulder who shrugs her off. " Do not touch me Witch ". Kara could feel her heart snapping into two pieces after hearing his words. " Witch? Witch? Say my fucking name Gabriel! Don't turn from me now! Don't do this to us! " she pleads but Gabriel does not turn back to her. " I AM YOUR MATE DAMMIT! LOOK AT ME YOU BASTARD " Kara screams out of anger. Gabriel stands still and silent. " AFTER EVERYTHING WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH..ARE YOU GOING TO REALLY TURN YOUR BACK ON ME? " Kara screams. " WE BELONG TOGETHER AND YOU KNOW IT. YOU CHOSE ME AND YOU SAID YOU WOULD ALWAYS STAND BY MY SIDE" Her screams turned into sobbing. " Gabriel please..for the Underworld..for the Kids we have yet to bless the world with. Please..just say my name " Kara cries but Gabriel still says nothing. " SAY IT! " Kara's eyes turn green, flames bursting from the tears streaming down her face. Without thinking, she pushed Gabriel who turned back to her finally. " Go home Witch. Go home while I clean up the mess we both made. And when I return, I never want to see you again. You don't know who you love. You say you do but you don't. You don't know what you want. And now, I'm bound to you. I hope that it was worth it " Gabriel Growls as he heads back to the bar and sits back down. Kara looked on in shock at what was taking place. Were they really over? That quickly? " Gabriel...you can't give up that easily. We have had our problems in the past and we agreed to work through our issues..we can work through this one. If you just give me a chance.." Kara's fire began to calm down now. " Leave " Gabriel said coldly.
